Which is why, Fb application and most other apps from AppStore or Cydia (for JB iPhones) don't run on it anymore.
If you're getting it for free, go for it otherwise instead of wasting money on it, get yourself iPhone 3GS at least or better yet iPhone 4 (not 4S) for you can get either one used in a good price.
