it is no inbuilt sim....it has a sim card slot on its top..so u can change it..its on gmsarena so obviously it has a sim slot.
hey guys.. i found the on net. There is actually a sim card slot for the Apple Iphone.
So.. i tink it can be used in Singapore.. Can't wait to get my hands on one...
this is very nice and cool phone BUT the biggest disadvantage is the phone comes with out sim card so you cant use it in other countries or with other phone companies you have to stick with AT&T all the time, Shame to IPhone . Not a Smart move.
I had a chance to play with the iPhone over the weekend. I can say that from a User Interface perspective this is the best cell/PDA I have seen or used.
As with all devices it has some short-comings. However, this is v1.0 of the iPhone release so early adopters who buy should not expect it to have everything perfect.
Apple did what Apple does best ... great design, great user interface.
We'll see how they do on the feature-to-feature battle over time.
I heard that from the other guy that told me you can use your own SIM card and you can use to call but some of the feature like Widgets, You Tube, Email, and stuff like that. Because iphone function using with AT&T is internet with the Carrier itself only. I would wait to see the total Result of the different SIM being used in the iphone. Will keep you posted as soon as i get it.
When will the rest of the world have the iphone too ?
this is not cool only in the usa can have it what about us ?
why do we need to wait so long for a new tec mobile?
no one makes the usa wait like this for a new tec
hmm can the Iphone be used in Asia ? I mean does it support the GSM network?
It’s also the best phone that anybody has ever made,” says Lev Gossman (Time). “The user interface,” Grossman marvels, “is crammed with smart little touches — every moment of user interaction has been quietly stage-managed and orchestrated, with such overwhelming attention to detail that when the history of digital interface design is written, whoever managed this project at Apple will be hailed as a Michelangelo, and the iPhone his or her Sistine Chapel.”
It only took two minues (at the most) to get the iPhone to use the wireless WiFi on my Apple Powerbook. Got to love it! :-)
Used it today at a café with free WiFi. Connected immediately! Got to love that too!
Leo Laporte, one of the most respected tech experts for the PC and Macintosh in the US, has said he was cynical about the hype of the iPhone before it came out. But once he used it, he says it's great and Apple has delivered as promised. He gives it a high rating.
So, go to:
You can learn what he advises on his national radio show and television programs with regards to PCs and Macs.
Don't by the phone in eBay at high prices. The guys on eBay are selling phones like a scalper sells tickets. The phones are available at Apple and AT&T:
The SIM Card will come out and can be changed.
And, there is inscurance for the phone.
It will send and receive MMS. You have to understand what they really are. Contact either T-Mobile or AT&T for GSM instructions on MMS.
Don't listen to the lies about the iPhone. It's a nice phone and will do many things people are saying it won't!
sure you can use the phone in Canada, as long as you don't mind paying for roaming. I heard Rogers will be carrying it in the near future, so you should probably wait.
I have to agree with a few of you that this has to be by far one of the best phone I have used thus far. It is completely intuitive and no need for a instruction.
