nick, 03 Jan 2009er no, they're crapWould you care to elaborate?
I like the pictures I took of the fireworks at Sydney on New Years Eve with my iPhone.
The people I emailed them to liked them, the people at work liked them when I loaded them onto a PC.
I have received nothing but positive comments on Facebook and Flikr where I uploaded them to directly from the iPhone.
Why are they crap...
...because you heard it somewhere and jumped on the bandwagon?
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2009I'm happy with the iPhone camera:-
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y61/Hill60606/NewYearsE... morei agree with you, my iphone takes awesomely killer pictures!!!
even other phones with higher resolution cameras couldn't compare. despite of the iphone camera having only 2 megapixels, it still takes the BEST pictures compard to other fones!!
cpw, 03 Jan 2009i have an iphone 3g and it is the best damn phone ever bar none.....
only problem is i cant... more i love my iphone soooo much!! anyways, you might want to try to have your fone jailbroken so you could download stuff from cydia; the stuff there is AWESOME!
anyways, i recently got hold of a program for iphone called "copier". it solves the copy-paste issues by having text from notes, sms, or contact details or emails converted to whichever way you'd want (as mentioned above).
example. you could open a contact, copy the fone number and export it as text. even get something from your notes and send it as sms or email or whatever.
steve, 03 Jan 2009would be the best phone if it had the following: • SMS contact groups • MMS • better came... morethe keyboard appears instantly when you tap on fields that require text input or anything that requires text editing. dude, are you sure you have the fone cause it's a no brainer to figure out how to use it
cpw, 03 Jan 2009i have an iphone 3g and it is the best damn phone ever bar none..... only problem is i cant... moreThe iphone will only show the keyboard when you need to type in things. So try tapping on the address bar on the top of safari, notes - tap on the note pad, if there is a field to fill out on a website tap on it.
i have an iphone 3g and it is the best damn phone ever bar none.....

would be the best phone if it had the following:

• much better battery life
• copy and past
• possibility to accept or send contacts via sms
After 5 month using the iPhone I just bough a W610i for day to day and use iPhone as palm replacement as the basic phone features and battery time is just not good enough
I would like to buy Apple iPhone 3G. Where could I buy it? I think this phone is beautifully and modern.
Peace, 03 Jan 2009iPhone has Built-in GPS receiver.
Its true or not?
Because I could't see it.Yes touch Maps, it will open and show you where you are, search for something and it will give you directions on how to get there.
Touch things and see what they do.

Is There iPhone has GPS reciever?
Because I bought one there is no GPS reciever. Some one know about this?
I've had my phone for about 3 weeks... I love it so much regardless the lack of MMS and full function of bluetooth.. it doesnt bother me... the overall fun outweight the cons...

I can email pictures like these and cc as many contacts as I want to add for less than one cent.
On my old phone I could send a picture to ONE contact for FIFTY cents.
So who is getting ripped off?
People can send me an MMS to my email address and I will get it on my iPhone OR if they send it directly to my phone my network provides a link so I can retrieve it using Safari, they even provide a reply link.
I have not had a chance to test it yet because in the six months since I got an iPhone no-one has sent a single MMS, all my friends use email because they have smartphones not dumbphones.
Please stop complaining about MMS and Bluetooth.
In the 273 pages of opinions you weren't the first to mention it, everyone here has read it again and again and don't need to hear it ANY MORE!
Why don't you write to Apple if it's that big of a deal? I'm sure they have a complaints section somewhere where they can read the thousands and thousands of emails and letters saying:
"OMG you has no MMS and Bluetooth! ZOMG you fail!"
And I'm sure they really care.
Kim, 01 Jan 2009Who using Iphone . since everyone also like to use iphone.. but i can tell u all . iphone is r... moreSo... You bought this phone without reading the features, is that what you're saying?
Complaining about it's lack of Bluetooth and MMS is quite funny if you actually BOUGHT it then found out it didn't have it. Why didn't you do your research and find out the phones specs before buying it?
Sorry, forgot about the MMS, quite a sad case that all pictures have to be emailed to others.
First off the hype overseeds the actual phone. I am NOT an apple computer user and for the last well.. forever I have hated apple for their stupid iPod after iPod without upgradeable memory and the likes (iPhone no better for this) but I thought I would pick one up just to play with the touch screen and virtual momentum and stuff. I am a proud owner of the Nokia N95 8GB, great phone, amazing camera, amazing applications. First off the Email setup is just so simple on the iPhone, just pick which service you want (Yahoo and Gmail for me) then just put your account in and BAM, no server settings or anything to hassle with. As well someone had stated here the zooming on a web page or picture is amazing. Unfortuneatly when you syc pictures to the iPhone it optimizes them so the 5MP shots from my N95 look quite crappy when zoomed in on with the iPhone, any pic does :(. The camera on the iPhone is weak and it matches the bluetooth of course. I can only hope an update would unlock the bluetooth but with knowing apple it'll be "iPhone 3G Bluetooth" edition :(. Application startup on the iPhone KILLS the N95, a touch and less than 1 second later the app is up and starting, the N95 can sometimes take forever. The lack of custom ringtones without a jailbreak is also dishearting, a simple cut MP3 worked great on the N95 where you have to buy a track and cut it for the iPhone which limits you to iTunes songs, I know some of the video game songs and stuff I like for rintones aren't on iTunes so again :(. But the GPS is a GREAT improvement vs. N95 GPS. The lock on with the iPhone is less than a minute where the N95 can take upwards of 5 minutes +. Again this is a personal observation on the two devices, I am keeping my N95 8GB as my camera/planer/bluetooth file transfer/modem phone. And for now just still messing with the iPhone whose battery life is aparently just the same as the N95's
