I will most probably buy an iphone because if it is made with the same quality control as other Apple products ... generally speaking, not to the 1% with a beef with Apple ... then it will be a great product.

I use, administer, repair, and throw out dead Apple products in my line of work, along with non macs (hate the term 'pc'). In my humble (cough) opinion the product is of a better quality than other branded computers EXCEPT for Dell which is a beautiful piece of equipment inside, and HP which is another beauty.

That said, the iphone will get my vote. THEN if it is rubbish I, along with all the other dissatisfied customers, will go elsewhere, so it's Apples gamble.

BTW, could some of you people at least attempt to learn to spell, how your opinions count for anything when you display an IQ below the room temperature beats me.

this "review" is wrong! it has a 5mp camera, not a 2mp, it's also said that this is twice as fast as the original iphone

would like to correct what pepsi posted with regards to video calling,

you can still see the one you are talking with but if you want to be seen by the other party you need to turn the camera to you thats why you probably cant do both at the same time nless you have a mirror...

3g fits in this phone, considering it has wifi and Youtube it needed it from the start! 3g is more than video calls, it's fast speed internet. It's clearly for entertainment purposes first and phone purposes 2nd.

yet another piece of crap , with just 3g added..thats it..!!

same KING SIZED phone.
same design camera features.

nothing has been upgraded but a stupid 3G service is added in this premium priced phone.

3G is no big deal.

3g is available in most of nokia's mid and low end phone , and at a price much cheaper you can get a phone with a hell off of more features .


BUZZ OFF APPLE..!!!

and yeah next time , try to make this BEAST A BIT SMALL ,ITS WAYYYYYYYY TO BIG.!!

wouldnt mind being it a little more thick , but do something about its width specially..

Reading what everyone here has to say, I completely agree with all the complaints about the iPhone 3G. However, Apple is KING of marketing in the U.S., and this is going to sell ridiculously well here. I know I know, "but it doesn't have MMS and proper bluetooth capabilities and video recording". Keep in mind people that we are here on a cell phone forum talking about the up and downs of phones, and we represent about 2-3% of phone owners. The rest of the public just wants something super simple and easy to use that looks sleek and shiny. Sound ridiculous? It is.
