Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Why carry around other devices? Because I can. Do you even have a car? Lol. I thought you are big on technology, and you only have a smartphone? Lol. Tell me, what do you do with your smartphone? You think your smartphone is good enough to replace computers, laptops, dslr cameras, etc? Can it burn cd's. Does it have digital at optical zoom. Can you download music from limewire, rip music from youtube, can you hook up a keyboard, an external hard drive, a mouse at the same time? Can it play dvd's, rip music from a cd? If it can do all that, and do it better than my laptop then I will buy your hd2, lol.
You said you have multiple big screen tv's, a camera, a laptop, etc. Then which device would you prefer to use in watching movies? Or doing a term paper? Or shooting photos at a special occasion?

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2010can anyone help me please.... my 3GS home screen is completely enlarged and i cant move around... moreHere's more:-
Many iPhone applications let you zoom in and out specific elements. For example, you can double-tap or use the pinch gesture to expand webpage columns in Safari. Zoom is a special accessibility feature that lets you magnify the entire screen of any application you’re using to help you see what’s on the display.
Turn Zoom on or off:
In Settings, choose General > Accessibility > Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.
NOTE: You cannot use VoiceOver and Zoom at the same time.
Zoom in or out:
Double-tap the screen with three fingers. By default, the screen is magnified by 200 percent. If you manually change the magnification (by using the tap-and-drag gesture, described below), iPhone automatically returns to that magnification when you zoom in by double-tapping with three fingers.
With three fingers, tap and drag toward the top of the screen (to increase magnification) or toward the bottom of the screen (to decrease magnification). The tap-and-drag gesture is similar to a double-tap, except you don’t lift your fingers on the second tap—instead, drag your fingers on the screen. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger.
For best results using three-finger gestures, relax and let your fingers touch the screen naturally.
Move around the screen:
When zoomed in, drag or flick the screen with three fingers. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger so that you can see more of the screen. Hold a single finger near the edge of the display to pan to that side of the screen image. Move your finger closer to the edge to pan more quickly. When you open a new screen, Zoom always goes to the top-middle of the screen.

Who wants pink photo's apart from gay men?
They release patches BUT they are still pink, HTC have been reknowned for YEARS fir the poor quality of their camera's and their TOTAL inadequacies with video drivers.

It's going to take me some time to explore everything and customize like I want......
This is a Keeper............... As I was saying earlier... This is just a skin for the HD2.... Just think of what the ROM of WM7 can be when developers make one for the HD2?????? This skin was done by a developer.... Just a matter of time before WM7 and Andriod ROM's come for the HD2.... HD2 simply the BEST..............................

High Tech, 21 Mar 2010Your comment "why would I compromise the performance of my phone when I really have no in... moreNo matter how much you keep repeating this it will change nothing! So just get over it. Apple fanboys are totally brain washed! They do not see what you and me and many others view. So it will be very hard to change their mind, I have been in the same boat but there is no use at all.
I always used to tell them that the ipod touch does everything the iphone does plus it is less than half price! So, if the ipod touch has it all, why buy an iphone? why waste more money for a thing that will deprive you from things that a true phone should have ( bluetooth- camera flash- multitasking- removable battery- external memory) It does not make any sence at all.
So in the end I figured out that this is the limit of their brain and thinking so I just left them alone, and if their happy then they are happy.
So my advice for you man is to do the same :)
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2010Hahaha, you're the one who doesn't know how to use technology appropriately. There's only so ... moreYour comment "why would I compromise the performance of my phone when I really have no intention of using my phone to do serious work that I would use my laptop, camera and TV for"? Why carry around or use three devices when U can carry just the HD2 and get the job done???.... You make my point.. The iphone cannot do any of those things for you... You need your laptop, camera, and TV, and iphone to do serious work.... Me I only need my HD2 to do all the above (serious work)...
Also by the way I can afford anything I want... I have two 60 inch LCD HDTV's, 46" LCD HDTV (Next is the 3D HDTV's) and Sony Full HD Blu-ray laptop, Blu-Ray Cam, and HD Camera......................................
Anonymous, 21 Mar 2010the hd2 didnt even come out yet on most carriers, just wait till it comes to tmobileWell even if it comes out with at&t or tmobil, I am not getting the hd2. I have so many apps already on my iphone that I regularly use daily. It is not worth it for me, but hey, if you prefer the hd2 over the iphone, go for it :)
And for all the people who still don't believe that samsung has the slowest devices ever, pls take a look on these videos, before gsmarena removes them :)

God it's so obvious how samsung still can't compete with SE and HTC!! So for god sakes just drop it will ya! I know you like your samsungs very much but it's still not as good as others. Seeing is believing right? So now I hope you know better.

High Tech, 20 Mar 2010It shows that you guys doen't know what great technical spec's are for a phone... The HD2 has ... moreHahaha, you're the one who doesn't know how to use technology appropriately. There's only so much technology that can fit in a small hardware like cellphones. An 8mp camera on a phone does not have all the technology in an 8mp standalone camera. A 1gz snapdragon device does not have all the power of a dual or quad core laptop. The high resolution of a phone will not match the joy of watching a movie on a 55inch screen flat screen LED TV, etc. With that said, why would I compromise the performance of my phone when I really have no intention of using my phone to do serious work that I would use my laptop, camera and TV for? Maybe for a person like you who cannot afford to buy powerful standalone devices, yes, but not for me who can afford other powerful devices that would give way better results that what a phone can produce. Apple is practical to only put in what's PRACTICALLY necessary on a phone. All the others trick you into putting in high numbers on megapixels and screen resolutions even when it can compromise performance. So what do you get? Laggy, slow, freezing, inconsistent, unstable, erratic behaving devices.

The iphone's 3.2 mp camera is good enough for casual photos for facebook uploads. I have a Canon camera that I use whenever I want to take serious photos. As for FM, I don't care for it because I have Pandora radio, plus, I have hundreds of songs in my iphone as well. And yes, I use my iphone mostly for amusement. I have serious devices for my serious stuff that no smartphone can beat. Why, what do you use your phone for? LOL. Get a job so you can afford to buy serious devices like laptops, big screen TV, DSLR camera, etc. You probably can't afford those powerful standalone devices so that's why you settle and depend on a smartphone to do everything, hahahaha.
