HD engr, 12 Dec 2009First off about the task switcher: press the task switcher button, press any app and voila it... moreI see that you like winmo, what phone do you use and which winmo version? I looked at the Samsung i637, the SE X1 and the HTC Touch Diamond (the only winmo devices at my local cellphone store) and they ALL lag a lot. I'm looking for a new phone and would love having one with a lot of features, not necessarily a smartphone, but something nice. Which winmo is fastest? I read that winmo lags, freezes and is unstable. Any help?
Hey guys, I currently own a blackberry curve and am looking to change phones within these next 2 months. I was interested in 4 main devices: iPhone 3gs, Samsung Jet, Sony Ericsson Satio and the Palm Pre. Unfortunetly, the satio isn't out yet in my country, and the Jet seems a little unresponsive with it's screen. My gf was going to buy the Pre but said that the slide out keyboard seemed loose. My question is mainly about battery life. I have an iPod 2g and hate having to charge it 2 to 3 times a day, so is the iPhone 3gs the same? I now it doesn't last a lot, I've been on this forum before, but is it as bad as tge iPod? Thanks for any answers!
iphone 3GS, all you need in a phone. . complete
HD engr, 12 Dec 2009First off about the task switcher:
press the task switcher button, press any app and voila it... moreO why are WinMo phones selling less and less, while iPhones are selling more and more?
Most people don't care about the crap you keep babbling about.
And that's the bottom line.
Anonymous, 12 Dec 2009I know what a task switcher/manager is. But that was not my question. My question was, how m... moreFirst off about the task switcher:
press the task switcher button, press any app and voila it re-opened UNCHANGE AND READY TO CONTINUE wherever it was left at. So do the simple math can u count will u?
On winmo, search ANY file is a breeze with one press and drag copy and paste, just like PC. And finding an app is customisable AND very easily accesible within two hits if categorized like PC with true tree directory and folder renaming to anything. This is just another COMPLETE feature of winmo. Remember 90% PC in the WORLD is running windows!
on icrap: press the home button, then HAVE TO SCROLL (does it also count as another press or step? lol) to the right if the app is not on the first page, lol, and how many apps can be display on the screen at a time, lol.
Anymore wishlist for icrap, enough said just go search for idon't youtube clip and cry out loud watching it, oh and don't bother go to FULL desktop web browser for youtube.com on icrap because u would get a biotch slap "error" in ur dum.b face hoping ANYTHING will work on icrap so shove it up urass with apple-cheated-on-you youtube "client". ENJOY the idon't!

Pro, 12 Dec 2009Let's say that I want to get a contact details for my parents while talking to them on Skype. ... moreWell you can always email the contact details before you call using skype, or maybe after. If looking for a hotspot so you can call using skype is not too bad for you, then I'm sure emailing contact details won't be a big deal. Also, if I'm in your situation where I use skype a lot to contact my family abroad, I will plan ahead before I call and make sure I already emailed whatever I need to send them so that I will not have to worry about it. And then again, if using skype and opening other apps is part of your regular routine, then you shouldn't even be considering the iphone.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Ummm excuse me. But comparing the way we both compose our messages, it's clear that you're the low life thug.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970And when did I admit to have lost? I've already told you over and over again that the selective multitasking ability of the iphone is fine and practical for us. You're the one forcing multitasking down our throats like it should be everyone's life or something. Our iphone is fine without full multitasking.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I know what a task switcher/manager is. But that was not my question. My question was, how many taps does it take for your multitasking phone to switch apps? Because I know that the apps may be running in the background, but you need to get to the task manager first before you can switch apps, and I wanna know how many steps that would take you. I already told you that with the iphone, it only takes two taps.

In fact, IMO, it is a stupid hippie OS.
But whatta hell, that's just my opinion.
For all You Lovers and Haters of IPHONE, i have one thing to say. ANDROID will overthrow all OS since its free to modify however you want to. ANDROID FTW!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I've used htc diamond before the iphone. So yes, I have used a winmo device. And yes, switching apps on the iphone is faster and I am not trying to fool anyone at all. It takes to taps. How many steps does it take for you to switch apps on your winmo device?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Well I never owned the droid and I know that it cannot browse the web while on a call with Verizon. Iphone users know that the iphone does not multitask on all apps so why would I deny that? Again, if multitasking is a must for you even when it is impractical, then that is your preference, but not ours. Extra features does not define which class a device should be in. The iphone has standard features that defines it as a smartphone that are not found in other phones either. Multitasking is not on the definition of a smartphone. Mutitasking does not define a smart person either. Being smart is getting a device that works best for you. The iphone works best for us so of course it is the best smartphone for us. Why would that concern you so much?
Your scenario is unrealistically silly. I have no problem searching for any videos I want to view on youtube on my iphone. Who cares if it's an app. It does the trick and that is all that matters. Of course you have to stop the music while viewing a youtube video. I would even play music and a youtube video at the same time on my desktop computer, and I refuse to do it just because I can because it does not make sense. If you had to get out of youtube and go back to view that same video again, you can always touch that bar on top to forward it. You don't have to watch the beginning part again. I never heard of anyone doing video comparisons on phones as part of their daily routine. But hey, if that is what you do all day, suit yourself, better yet, use a laptop, it's easier, better, and faster.
And again, we do not care for full multitasking, so get over it.

That's what the millions of iphone users think of the iphone, and that's why we bought the iphone.
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2009That's funny with iphone on this video clip, sorry if you can't watch on your iphone. http:/... moreYou obviously haven't used an iphone. Any iphone user would know that they can tap on your youtube link and be able to watch that youtube video. And as for that idon't video that you haters love to post over and over again, we all know those idon'ts already and we do not care because there are a lot of ido's with the iphone that matters to us more.
Mitch, 11 Dec 2009Again a know it all iphone user who assumes they know everything…you should not assume it make... moreWell I'm basing my reply on what you have stated. If your country does not offdr unlimited data, and fm is so important for you, then why did you get the iphone and complain? Don't you think that's silly? As for the iphone's fm capabilities, who knows why they haven't activated it. I could care less, that's why I don't care even if they don't. But for a person like you who only has fm to get the news from, then I can't even comprehend why you bought the iphone then complain.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970U don't make sense, at all.
Get an iPhone, n use it, 4 real.
U'll se the difference between phone design selling oriented, and user oriented.
In fact, every new phone that comes out in worldwide market, is directly compared 2 Apple's iPhone.
You can hate this phone, but you must admit that this is a cutting-edge device, and it continues to inspiring all brands in terms of "phone creating" department.
Reading all this opinions, all this "iCrap boyz", and even the lovers 'n hatters of this device, i only got one fact in my mind.
I bet u never saw some1 who bought an iPhone who hate it.
I bet u never will see some1 boughting an iPhone, and hating it.
Every1 who buy an iPhone, loves it. This is a fact, and u can't deny it.
Every1 who put hands on any iPhone, wnats it.
This IS a cutting-edge device, with marvelous specs.
I love it. Why? Cuz it works.
I've been a Nokia user since my first phone... i got it when i was 12 yo. FYO, i'm 23 yo now.
My problem with Nokia wass always the same: every time u put files in any Nokia phone, it looses performance.
I mean... yea, my last N95 had 8GB internal, rox!
But u cannot put more than 3GB, or it bacame laggy, and sometimes even frozes.
I HATE IT WITH ALL MY HEART.
It was this at 6120, N95, ant even with the N97!
That's only one reason why I like the iPhone: it has trully 32GB memory, and u CAN use it.
After my N97 i spent some time with an Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.
And i must say, that wasn't a good "XPERIENCE" either.
I returned it to my carriers store for two times, cuz it's 8GB microSD card was ruined.
And afterall, X1 had the same issues that my Nokias had: laggy.
Anywayy, X1 was my very first experience with WM OS... and i must say, that i hated it.
WM OS it's not even close to what ppl call "user friendly"
Personally, i hate the "expandable memory" thing. It's very annoyng 4 me 2 choose if a app will be installed in the internal memory, or put a song in the microSD.
That's another reason why a like the iPhone.
Well, resuming, every1 who put hands on an iPhone, loves it. And for i'm reading in all this opinions, all bad opinions bout this phone, came from ppl who hasn't even get an iPhone in hands.
I was that kind of user. Personally, i wasn't an iPhone fan, until the day i got one.
Gratz Apple, again.
