Anyone who has touched more then one nokia or works in a store knows that nokia's battries are wrapped in steel.
The user "P%nm" is either a confused fanboy or apple's paid advertising.
Flash is just a web technology like many others and it happens to be the most complex and advanced one to date. That's why it is used, that's why many sites choose to have flash webapps.
Noone forces nothing it's just a technology, it might be superseeded by html5 and it will superseed html again as it has done before and this will probably go on forever.
The fact is that a web browser that doesn't handle flash, should belong in a museum.

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2009My n97 charges via usb.Changing the maps ypu dont lose your license.Nokia goes by the imei num... moreCharging via USB takes hours, I'm talking AC chargers the N97 doesn't work with other phone's micro USB AC chargers eg Samsung, Blackberry, Motorola, Plantronics.
Typical Nokia user free and open in your walled garden.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Flash will not work WITHOUT ADOBE they are monopolising the Internet.
After a clean install of ANY operating system on a PC, the first time you visit a page with Adobe flash it tells you to visit Adobe for the plug-in, ADOBE are forcing developers (who pay) and users (who pay by enduring ads and flash cookie spyware) into a self sustaining environment in which there is NO OTHER CHOICE.
There is only one company that makes flash plugins and that's Adobe, it's an inefficient piece of software than strains system resources.
It can be used to track everything you do on the Internet without your knowledge (Google "flash cookies").
Enjoy your walled in system I prefer new open html 5 and other technologies which aren't dictated at the whim of Adobe.

Sorry sir,, but even after all,, Nokia is much much friendly user phone, i Phone's 3GS functions are not bad but 3GS doesn't have latest more than we have already experienced in Nokia N Series, i'm talking about functions not soft touch screen,, and this phone you can not use with one hand,, and this busy lifeeee ufff ,, i still go with My Nokia. please note this is only my opinion ,, my aim not to hurt any Iphone user, thanks everybody. Assalam u alyekum wa rahmat ul lahi wabarakaat.
Fast and fluent is how i would describe the 3gs. Its better than any other phone I have owned before (I uograde every 2 years and have done for the last 16 years or so) but this is also current so it should be better. You miss out on quite a few standard features that other makes have used in their phones for years however, what this phone does do, it does very well. You actually forget about the can't do's and focus on the can do's very quickly with this device. Internet in your pocket comes in useful. This is just my opinion after using it for a couple of months, Hope some of you can find this information useful.

This is a null and void argument. Why not stick to facts that help others to decide if the device is worthwhile getting or not. My opinion after owning the 3gs for 2 months now is that it is a pleasure to use and for most, will not disappoint.

Oh, here's the link lil' one :)
... moreWhy don't you read the article you linked to, here the final paragraphs:-
"The iPhone sucks -- so what?
If the iPhone is inaudible, unconnected, on fire and out of battery, why is the thing so popular? The fact is, although the iPhone is the worst phone in the world, it's the best handheld computer there is. Web browsing is a revelation, it's a fantastic music- and movie-playing iPod, and it's easy as pie to install thousands of apps that do everything from editing your photos to tuning your guitar. And unlike its competitors, its responsive touchscreen and crystal-clear user interface make tapping away on the iPhone a real pleasure.
Making calls just isn't what it used to be, back when Grandpa used to dial by shouting down the party line at the operator. Many of us prefer Facebook and text messages to chatting on the phone, and the home phone is dying out altogether. Meanwhile, for some of us, finding a new venue without a little Google Map help is like trying to navigate by the stars, and we can't bear to wander without Wikipedia. For all these features that make smart phones live up to their names, the iPhone does a bang-up job. Just don't try to actually make a phone call on one."
Besides my iPhone works fine, and I don't need no stinking Adobe rubbish to tell ME what I can and can't do on the Internet.
How much does Adobe pay you, you love their crap so much?
Anonymous, 07 Nov 2009You're probably using a Nokia like my grandmother, she doesn't understand the Internet either.... morehttp://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobile...03754,00.htm

iPhone is actually the first device to get a prize for the worst device in the world =))
As for grandma and internet, that's how iPhone displays web pages, with no FLASH!
Anonymous, 07 Nov 2009Maybe you should have another go at figuring out how to navigate around the n97 menu. You said ... moreWhy would I, it's a waste of time and annoying the N97 is so horrible to use, things are sooo sloooooow!!!!
The stupid thing wouldn't even switch on this morning a standard micro USB charger wouldn't charge it, you HAVE to use the Nokia one, so much for standards.
I updated the maps from 2 to 3 and it wiped all the old maps and the licence, how stupid is that, now you just get a grey screen with a dot on it, it says it can't connect to the Internet but I was able to use Opera Mini and the default browser on the net, no problems, the Maps 3 application has the dumbest error ever Unable to connect, Go to tools, connection and connect so you do that it goes back to the maps, says unable to connect go to tools, connection and connect, so you do that it goes back to the maps, says unable to connect go to tools, connection and connect, so you do that it goes back to the maps, says unable to connect go to tools, connection and connect, so you do that it goes back to the maps, says unable to connect go to tools, connection and connect, so you do that it goes back to the maps, says unable to connect go to tools, connection and connect.
I gave up on it at that point.
The N97 is rubbish if anyone says it's good to use they are lying.
Anonymous, 07 Nov 2009The iPhone is so high tech that stupid people think it's low tech.
