yako, 06 Aug 2009I am gamer freak, anyone can tell which phone i should buy better if my priority is the game o... moreFor games, wow! That's a tough one. The graphics are awesome on the iPod touch that I have and should be a hell of a lot better on the iPhone 3gs. But in my opinion, you should look for something with a physical pad. Its up to you to decide what is more important: graphics or control. I would recommend a nokia with ngage as the games are good, and you have a physical pad. I use my iPod becuase it looks better but when I'm playing Resident Evil for example, my thumb slides off and the guy stops moving in the game. But the graphics look a little better than on the n95. And the 3gs has a better chip for that. But like I said, it is up to you to decide between touch and physical controls.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Thanks for your comment! I dont think Brenda is crazy, she's just doing what everyone else does, every one is entitled to an opinion. Some people take it too far though. I really dont like her comments on how only people with enough money should have the iPhone. But again I see she's just trying to defend her point of view. I personally dont think any phone is the best, there's always something that one has and another doesn't. I think people should concentrate more on the topic instead of fighting eachother. Hope you can find a phone that suits you!
I am gamer freak, anyone can tell which phone i should buy better if my priority is the game of facebook or something like that?
Who should buy iphone and who should not buy!!!
In my opinion:
> You should buy iphone if you want to jailbreak(hack)the iphone so you can down load thousand free apps and themes from Cydia, appulous. you can change the iphone as the way you want to.
> If you dont want to jailbreak the phone, don't buy it... you cant not change anything or adding anything without paying.
DO NOT BUY this CRAP !!! i have one and it's a pice of s..t. Battery -4/5-hours... wi-fi not so good, because using wi-fi = heat...that means u're battery sooon will be douwn.
Anonymous, 05 Aug 2009Seriously? Thats a high recommendation as i know you are/were a keen '95 user. Is there volume... more..typo, meant my mates 2G, not 3G..in any case i have just watched some 3GS sound test clips on You-Tube and i am impressed..i would be more impressed tho if any of you can confirm whether or not the message alerts/ring tones can be set as loud as the music can be?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Seriously? Thats a high recommendation as i know you are/were a keen '95 user. Is there volume there tho, i tested my '95 8gb against my mates 3G and the output was hugely in the Nokias fsvour. But i understand the 3GS has a higher output than the 3G, could you confirm the volume output is pretty decent on the 3GS pls mate? Also ring/message alert volumes?
so between the n97, n95 8gb and the 3gs which one do u guys think is the best??
The worst people of them all. Are the ones that can't see past their own nose and wants to decide on behalf of everyone, what you can and can't.
A review is comparing a gadget to other gadgets and make conclusions. So it should be ok to come with own comparisons and opinions as well right?
Since we're all grownups we know that those comparisons and opinions are based on one single persons experiences. If someone says that the phone is very small, you might think it is very big and vise versa.
So read all peoples opinions and comments, good and bad experiences. And make your own conclusions. Don't argue with other people if they're wrong or not. And defiantly don't try and control who should write what and where.
Wow guys... There's no reason to get upset over somebody dissing a certain phone. All phones have people that claim they are the best, whether its N97 or N95 or iphone. After a while you just realize that its pointless to try and convince people that it is better, like trying to convert somebody to scientology (unless you are one). As for me, I love my iphone, but at times I miss my N75 too.
And as for upgrading to the 3GS from the 3G, I did that, but I did so because I would've really benefited from what the 3GS has to offer. Better camera, digital compass, more RAM, and of course MUCH better processor have come in handy for me quite a bit. And even if you don't believe in dishing out another 200 bucks or so to upgrade, this kind of "obsession" could be related to people collecting cars or airplanes or paintings or stamps: It's just something we do that makes us happy. At least in this case there are things that the new phone can do that are useful, unlike stamps or paintings (not to diss art collectors etc.)
Brenda: You will never win this "war", nor will anybody else. The only way you'll win is if other people stop replying to your posts, and thats not really winning anything, but being annoying enough to push them away. Nobody is saying you are ugly, but if people here had to draw a picture of what you looked like based on what we know, everybody would draw a less than pretty woman simply because of your demeanor, which is aggressive and condescending. Obviously nobody here knows or really cares about anybody else on here, but you should still show the same respect to people, and the same should go for everybody else.
i knew it was too good to be true, i was loving my new 3GS today, spent 4 hours putting 20GB worth of music, videos and pictures on it, then went out for 30 minutes, came back home, connected the 3GS with itunes again, guess what, it says this "itunes cannot read the contents of the iphone3gs, restore the phone to factory settings" WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have now lost 20GB worht of stuff and do i have to do it again?? you got to be joking? WHY has this done this????
Why are you people arguing over silly matters for? A phone is a phone! Everyone is entitled to there own opinion but this is the IPHONE 3GS opinion page! Any other phone discussion can happen some where more relevant.
in south africa this phone is only availible through one network namely vodacom
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970It means I have a choice, I can buy music from iTunes, I can rip my old LP's, tapes and CD's or I can download music from other sources and add it to my library.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970There's friction here because of silly comments from people like you. You iphone haters always complain about how expensive the iphone and its data plan is. You haters also complain about paying for apps. Based on your complains and the scenario of depending solely on your phones to browse the web because you guys don't probably own computers and laptops, I can't help but get the impression that you are low income individuals. Sorry, but you guys gave me that impression.
Anonymous, 05 Aug 2009Yes,not meant for long web browsing. Limit your time to 30 minutes a day!I use my iphone longer than 30 minutes a day. More like 4 hrs a day, but sporadically. I have a computer and a phone at my office. I have my laptop in my car, and I have my imac at home as well. Why? Is your phone your only means of web browsing? Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I totally forgot that there are people like you who probably can't afford laptops and desktop computers, so you end up using your phone to browse all day. I'm sorry. No wonder your phone overheated. So you see it's not fair for anyone to blame Apple when the problem is on some low income users abusing their iphones because it's their only access to the internet :)
