Hi Guys

Which do you think has the fastest OS response of the 3:
1) Satio
2) Omnia HD
3) iPhone 3GS
Jrf, 03 Aug 2009It really depends on what you want it for. I love the bold for the same reasons but thr 3GS is... moreGave it some thought, think I will go for the iPhone 3gs anyway. 32GB, superfast processor, ui, browsing, appswise, nice camera, youtube.
But bad battery, no flash support internet, 3g is not always available. Also touchscreen is bothering me a little bit, im afraid i wont get used to it or that it will annoy me. Heard some stories of people who wanted to throw away the iphone being frustrated with the fact you cant press buttons, no multitask.
Also the look of iPhone is also not my favourite, id wish they made a girls iPhone and one which fits more to men. Now its to feminine.
But I cant denie its a superdevice and has no competition perfomancewise, so I will get this.
Can somebody plz help me how does one edit your contacts on the iPhone without going through each one individually on the phone? Can it be done via itunes? thanks

Luckily for you you can have a two week trial, i don't think mine will be returnable,,so your's is much less a HUGE mistake potentially than mine!.
I am still concerned about Volume output on the I-Phone, having come from a very loud '95, still it's been discussed already, it's alway'd got the vibrate i spose..

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2009would it be foolish to choose a blackberry bold over an iphone 3gs 32gb? I can afford both of ... moreIt really depends on what you want it for. I love the bold for the same reasons but thr 3GS is a lot more fun. If you type alot than I would recommend the bold. I'm using the iPods virtual keyboard and its not slowing me down but I still feel more comfortable with a physical keyboard, and the bolds is supposed as good as the curves. So I guess that is the only reason I would recommend the bold over the 3gs, the keyboard. If you want to have more fun with it like pictures and web than the iPhone seems better. My gf has the curve 8350i and it has the same OS, 4.6 so I can say the blue background looks great and its my favorite color for a background. The iPhone doesnt support themes and can only have a picture on the lock screen. Good luck!

For them, I'd recommend an unlocked GSM phone. I guess they dont see the fact that a phone with email, web, downloads and uploads NEED a data plan, otherwise they'll be charged for every connection unless they're on wifi. Oh well! I guess that's the way life is, people will always try to prove that they're better than you or whatever. And to what you said before, not to me, but you said something about the n95 you had took 1min to turn on? Was it the N95-1 which is the one with a sliding lense cover? That was the worst N95 they could have sold us. And yes the euro versions come out first and dont support US 3G but they usually make an american version. Doesnt matter, I just wanted to point out that if that was the n95 you had then that would explain the minute long wait. My mom has the n95-3 which is the NAM version. It turns on in like 10 to 15 seconds. And another thing: the se racheal I've never read about, but I really think the stio will be my next purchase, I just need to see some sample pics taken with it cuz the c905 really amazed me but being a 12mpx cam I have to make sure its sensor and lense is big enough! And the multitaskin, yeah we can be at it all day lol, I cant remember where I read that, but even in that article it says that no one will ever fully define multitasking or agree on a definition. But if apple made push notifications then to me that means its for making up not being able to multitask, I guess thats all, I just woke up, bye! Looking forward to your response.
ha ha ha ha, Apple Products!! Quality yeah?? ha ha ha

would it be foolish to choose a blackberry bold over an iphone 3gs 32gb? I can afford both of them, but I like the bold because of its looks and superscreen, they its the best. Also better battery, better keyboard, better videoplay. Plus the Iphone looks so feminine.
Also Blackberry released AppWorld this month, for downloading apps.
Please suggest.
Now you can get Docs2Go from the App Store so far it only let's you create and edit Word 2007 files they promise Excel in a future free update.
Until then you can read Excel, Powerpoint, Word and PDF as well as iWork files.
You can work on the same document on your PC and iPhone then sync changes via WiFi.
BIG problems = icrap crappy iphone

Yes its probably better to turn the phone off first but its never caused me any problems brillance, sorry i mean brenda.

I had two N95's before switching to the iphone. Turning the N95 on already takes a minute. Maybe the act of changing the battery may indeed take 15 seconds, but that does not include the time you remove the back cover and putting it back on, and turning the phone off and then on, and the time it takes to search for a signal. But you know what? If that process works for you better, keep doing it by all means =)
Jrf, 03 Aug 2009Hi! I'll try to answer both comments here: first off, from what I've read multitasking on a ph... moreMulti tasking means running more than one app at the same time. That's regardless whether it's a native or 3rd party app. DirecTV app is a 3rd party app as well. I can open my DirecTV app, choosing which TV programs I want to record (remotely) and still keep my music player on. While listening to music and setting up TV shows to record on my DirecTV app, I can have application updates running in the background as well. So those are already 3 tasks running at the same time on the iphone. That is multi tasking. Again, multi tasking is not a battery efficient feature. So the iphone's UI is designed in a way that it would let you run multiple apps at the same time only on apps that make sense to run at the same time, but it closes and prevents you to run multiple apps that does not make sense to run at the same time. That explains why it does not need or have a task manager. It can open, close and reopen apps even faster than phones with multi tasking features where it requires you open its file manager first to be able go back to whichever app you were working on.
As for affordability. I am only saying the truth. The iphone, combined by it's data plan, app store and itunes, can be expensive to some consumers. And people use that to pull down the iphone, saying that its data plan is too expensive, that all apps should be free, that they should not be paying for music or videos, etc. We all know that the iphone does not support piracy, and that the iphone wants to give compensation to app developers. In return, we get high quality music, videos and tons and tons of apps.
SE "Rachael" is also another SE phone to look out for. It sports an even bigger screen, and will have Android as its OS (Satio will have symbian). I am going to be torn between Satio, Rachael and Iphone 4G. Samsung, Nokia and HTC high end phones do not seem to support US 3G frequencies. They only give US consumers their 2nd rate phones, so I won't even bother with them. SE, Palm and Apple devices are more geared for US high end phone enthusiasts.
