Anonymous, 02 Aug 2009Hi, we established that the N958gb has louder output than the 3GS, but what about the web brow... morePertaining to the N95 vs the Iphone 3GS question, I feel they both have their strengths and weaknesses. I have never used the N95, but I've used the N75 which has the same Symbian OS and interface and I got sick of it very fast.
I got an Iphone and have been happy with it since. I know the N95 has loud speaker, great camera, and multitasking not to mention Bluetooth file transfer etc., but I would still choose the Iphone simply because of how intuitive it is.
I would literally use the Bluetooth filetransfer like 4 times a year, and as far as multitasking goes, the Iphone 3GS (especially the latest model) opens programs so fast you would think it WAS multitasking. The only time I've ever wanted multitasking is when IMing, which isn't often on my phone.
Push notification is a good alternative to multitasking as it saves battery life and performance, plus why have an app open if you aren't even talking to anybody most of the time (unless you are ^_^ )
I feel that the Iphone is superior in terms of speed, usability, simplicity, and even functionality despite its lack of File Manager and Bluetooth file transfer. It's a phone that will make you feel like you are in star trek or something.
N95 has long been called the "King of Phones" but in this day and age it is about more than just specs and Megapixels. Plus the Iphone is much more sleek, N95 is fat and bulky. Goodluck with whatever you choose :)
Hi, we established that the N958gb has louder output than the 3GS, but what about the web browsing when comparing the two? I use Opera Mini on my 95 and quite like it- how does web browsing on the Apple compare please? Can the Apple multi-task also? I ask as i'm thinking of getting a 3GS with a view to upgrading from the 95 8gb, obv if the Nokia is better i'll stay put..
iphone 3gs.....rocks...amazing apps!!!!!!!!!!huuuuuuuuuuuuu........iphone the smartest phone..ever..
Does it mean the iphone 3gs does not have bluetooth support as in sending of files from one phone to the other? if so the iphone 3gs is not impressive at all.....
Even Nintendo are getting worried as the iPhone barges in.

Another world changing moment for this fantastic device.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You can carry the supplied USB cable and charge it from a PC if you can't afford a $10 car charger or $20 AC charger or you may have been smart enough to buy one of the many car models available which come with an iPod dock because that will charge it too.
There are hundreds of things available with charging docks, they are very easy to find.
anyone has the link for free M4R ringtone converter??
Ok,can i have an unbiased opinion on the 3gs? I have a N95 8gb and know the Nokia has louder sound output..but what about web browsing? I use Opera on my 95 and like it a lot. hye, 02 Aug 2009phones have been invented for years, and ever since then battery lives have never been solved.... moreYou be smart in using your device and you deal with it. As for me, i always carry my charger with me. I also have one in my car, and have one at my office as well. Iphone is for people who can afford it anyway. People who can very well afford multiple chargers. The iphone's battery life was and is never an issue for smart people.

Can your N95 do that? And really, I don't know anyone who connects their phones to their TV every day. This is a cool feature but not regularly used.

Brenda, 01 Aug 2009I suggest you make an appointment to see your audiologist. The iphone's ringtones and alerts ... morehe is telling the truth. my volume is on the higest and when im walking in the street its impossible to hear. when i get home i have 8 missed calls and 3 unread messages.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970the n95 can also connect to an tv-out cable just by using a 3.5mm jack, clever hey!! try it with an iphone and you cant, yet i tried it with my motorola v9 and it worked, for this useless jargon you have to buy a $50 cable!!!
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2009Wearing bluetooth would work but the iphone ringing in your pocket in a loud place, nope! It's easy to miss a call in any crowded place on ANY phone, not just the iphone. I suggest turning vibrate on so you would know if someone is calling you. This is a non issue. You just want to make a big deal out of something really small.

Loud phone speakers are for annoying kids who hang round in shopping malls playing badly distorted crap music, much to the consternation of other mall users.
Especially in the food court which is a losers idea of paradise.
