> In reply to Raphael @ 2009-06-10 02:24 from 4Bat - click to readHa ha , the android has a 3.15mp camera as well!!! infact here is a list of new high end phones with 3mp cameras Nokia E75 Motorola A3100 HTC Touch Pro2 BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Storm 9500, BlackBerry Storm, O2 XDA Serra, Palm Pre Android.
Trust me ALL camera phones are pretty ordinard (no optical zoom, very slow, lens distortion, noise, poor flash (even xenon) etc)
DONT WORRY TO MUCH ABOUT THE CAMERA!!! The screen, OS, apps, gps, call quality, stability etc are the most important thing.

There are a lot of ignorant people around, the iPhone does multitask with native applications and always has.
A digital compass let's GPS software know which way a phone is facing so the orientation of the map on the screen can be adjusted accordingly.
You know the Nokia sports tracker, how it keeps track of how far you've run or walked using GPS?
What happens when you're doing your workout on a treadmill in a gym?
Enter Nike which measures distance based on movement of your shoe.

The T-Mobile G1 (Google) phone I have, has has the digital compass for months! Also, a spirit level. And the full original PacMan game, all free. I have over 20 apps and they're free. That said, Apple has the best games, like gold and The Need For Speed. I iPhone-3GS is what it should have been in the beginning, and it is definitely a winner. I may buy one.
I already own the Blackberry Bold and the original Samsung Omnia(5mp camera), so am thinking that maybe this time, I'll try an Apple.

@Palm customers
Sure Palm Pre is better than this, but any phone nowadays is that as well. N97, Omnia HD and Satio (all flagship Symbian Touch phones from the world's 3 biggest phone companies) completly blow both Iphone and Palm out of the water.
No radio, no card slots, weak video recording (if at all), no secondary camera, low screen resolution, no multitasking and locked sim-card and battery (Iphone only) are some huge lacks, disadvantages, and drawbacks, which any of them I certainly wouldn't stand out having in my Symbian phone.
Sorry Palm, sure you did a good try, and indeed defeated the 2 year old Iphone tech-wise, but shouldn't you have higher goals than that???
