I have an iphone 16G ,,,in my opinion the iphone creator does not want to give tomuch characteristic compaired with the other mark as Samsung or Nokia,,,, its a matter of comercial strategy not to give all in one time .

Not enough difference to be worth an upgrade from my current iPhone 3g.
Should be at least 5 Meg pixel camera or 8, to compete these days.
A micro card slot would also make it more competative, giving a greater memory for video and media and allowing easier data transfer from phone to pc.
As usual Apple hold back and drip feed new features. I shall give the 3gs a miss and wait for the next version. Apple.. So nearly brilliant but always not quite there! Shame

5.Can’t replace the battery? Is that a feature?
6.I’d rather find a sponsor for it (and the plan), instead.
7.Buyer’s remorse will set in after bragging rights are no longer valid.
8.Still unclear on Windows / Outlook integration.
9.Do I really need to make Steve Jobs any richer than he already is?
10.Do I really need to give AT&T any more of my money? n97 rules

Most cam phones nw have flash installed. And most people are really making it a big deal. But the truth is, flash from camera phones hardly make a difference in low-light conditions because of their very ability to provide light in such a very short distance. move away for like 3 meters from the subject then use the flash, the output image is still disappointing - very noisy image output. Camphones are just good for daylight conditions. No matter how high the resolution, still it gets noisy in low lights even with the flash. Tried so many phones. but none of these flash have been impressive enough.

Are you being paid by Adobe to promote flash?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-18 14:42 from RYsp - click to readSo I take it you will not make any calls or use the phones in any way over the next two years then?

Which is throwing money away when you could be subsidizing a phone, it's known as total cost of ownership.

btw the pricing is different in different countries, like in Australia they will be probably available on $A69 plans which is exactly the same as any other phone, in fact I'd say the N97 will cost more because there are 480,000,000 Nokia sheep in the world.

"for the same price of an iphone 3gs with a contract i could get about 3 nokia n97s and a samsung ommnia

or 2 or 3 htc hd's

without contract i could get any of those posted above or two samsung omnia's

oh and all those phone make iphones graphics look like sh*t"

Flash, video calling facilities are very basic to any premium phone. Why Apple neglected on those features is a mystery. However, the thing about 3G S is about data transmission. Shame on Blackberry and Nokia for not bringing such a winner inspite of being in the business longer than Apple. Apple on the otherhand makes them shiver with just 3 models so far. Wakeup Nokia and Blackberry.

> In reply to Allan @ 2009-06-18 10:54 from IkcD - click to readI guess Blackberry's, Palm Pre, HTC Magic and others are child's toys too.

"None of the iphones have secondary cameras for video calling or more importantly oversea skype calls so you can see who you are talking too.

This makes the iphone a childs toy."
