American processor because Nokia recognizes US tech is the best.

Will this start lagging when the memory fills up, like the N96?

Will your friends have to stand around waiting for the thumbnails to populate the gallery?

Nokia is behind Apple does that make it sixteen years behind!

Meanwhile AT&T first day preorders have sold out, it looks like the iPhone will once again do what other manufacturers can only dream of, queue people up outside stores.

Component video out one the iPhone 80's composite on the N97, boring old tech for boring old people.

Your argument is stupid!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-13 23:53 from P%nm - click to readEasier 1 handed operation in portrait mode for the n97 then iphone 3g.

iphone 3g 115.5 width62.1 12.3mm

N97 117.2 barely a difference in length width 55.3

15.9mm goes without saying cause of wonderful qwerty.

A good difference in width for 1 handed portrait mode operation for the n97. Easier then the iphone3g.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-13 23:53 from P%nm - click to readWhen typing it's not meant to be used one handed. You obviously have to hold it. Typing with 2 hands is obviously quicker then 1. It's not about a balancing act but speed.

The chinese version still has the on screen qwerty and since the n97 isn't as wide as the iphone it could be used one handed in portrait mode a lot easier then the iphone.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-13 23:53 from P%nm - click to readWhen it's being held in a car holder like for the windshield for GPS it will be closed. Argument fail.

It can sit on a desk, qwerty open and watch a movie or video so you or everyone can see.

If no tilt action, what are you gonna do. Prop it up???

What about the htc touch pro2 or the htc advantage x7500 or the htc advantage x7510 or the LG KT 610.

All have screens that tilt up.

Oh yeah i can hardly see the screen, wow even though it's right in front of me. You only got this idea from your buddy 3Yyt.

> In reply to Allan @ 2009-06-13 23:42 from IkcD - click to readSo the N97 screen is facing you, is the keyboard facing you too?

Isn't it at an angle facing outwards?

I'm talking about holding it down in your lap, or when it's being held in a car holder.

One handed use would be impossible.

I've never heard of nrver???

AT&T has sold out of first day preorders!

Apple stores will have plenty and AT&T will have non-preorder stock as well but you'll have to line up for it.

Here comes the juggernaut, once again it looks like the evnt other manufacturers can only dream of is going to happen again, despite the best efforts of most of the negative posters.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-13 20:47 from mXyc - click to readThe iPhone is capable of running far more powerful software than the N97 can.

Which is why there are so many business and medical Apps.

How do you use the N9?

Iif you are holding it, looking down at the screen the keyboard is facing up at an angle, what do you drag a picnic table around with you so you can rest it on a flat surface.

I bet I can get a lot more for my year old, officially unlocked iPhone 3G 16GB on Ebay than you'd get for any of those phones you mentioned in a similar used state, especially after I upgrade the OS to 3.0.

Apple products are very good at holding their value, they are one of the only manufacturers who don't charge early adopteds more then drop the price of their handsets after a few months.
