another new nokia device is a lumia 820. the design looks like an iphone. nokia may have borrowed that style.

if only tmobile carries the iphone5, i would get one. so my alternative for my lg g2x (android) is either a lumia 920 or tmobile's version of lumia 820 which is a lumia 810.

there should be a manual that comes with root, to guide those people who dont know the risk ( 99 % of users), and prevent them from bricking their phones. (as much as 1.3 getting activated daily, .5 m is getting phased out/replaced, .3 m is getting bricked/deadboot)

as for iphone and lumia phone, you dont need root to get the most out of your phone.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-20 01:00 from 7qE@ - click to readGoogle allows Apps on the market you need to Root to use, some phones and tablets come pre-rooted and Samsung doesn't even bother to encrypt the Bootloader because they deliberately making it easy to Root so people can make full use of the phones capabilities.
But Apple tried as hard as possible to make Jailbreaking illegal so they have even more control over what people can do on their phones but luckily for once the US courts saw sense and didn't make it illegal.
So if you had any sense at all you wouldn't be proud Apple devices are hard to crack because it just shows Apple doesn't want people to use the devices they paid good money for the way they want to.

Stupid android is already crack able and customizable... It takes real brains to crack iOS and customize it...
People who just want to feel and show that they are some tech geeks easily fall for android.

even if it's polycarbonate if it aint unibody, the moment you drop it... it'll shatter to pieces. ip5 and that beast of a lumia is unshatterabble. unlike that cheap cellophane gs3 (or any shamesung out there)

I just upgraded to the iPhone 5 from the 3GS and I am very impressed with the phone. The speed is awesome and LTE is just amazingly fast. The taller screen and thinner phone are perfect, it fits in my pocket without it bulging. The feel and weight are also perfect in hand.

I used it without a cover for over a week with not scratches, its a shame to cover this beautiful phone but it goes on when I leave the house.

This phone is not for everyone, each has his or her own needs and tastes. For me it a familiar operating environment, its works flawlessly and syncs with iTunes on my Mac Book Air through my home network, no need to plug cables unless you want to restore the phones OS or do an update of the OS.

For those looking for a light and slim phone this is the perfect choice.

> In reply to Ron @ 2012-10-19 21:17 from uNVL - click to readActually anyone who knows anything about anything knows Polycarbonate is the best material for a phone because it's light, flexible, shock proof, scratch resistant with colour impregnated into it and much easier and cheaper to replace.
But people just want to believe the iPhone's better quality because it has the more expensive materials when it is 100% style over substance.
I mean metal's fine on a car because you just hammer the dents out but a dent in the iPhone is permanent, and I admit the S3 should have had better side protection which is why it breaks easier along with the sheer size of the screen but that's just the way it is.

You apple user doesn't think before writing, do you?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-19 19:35 from RJiM - click to readWell you r lying,, cause if you did have sg3,, you wouldn't have got so impressed by ip5,,,, or may be you r not an intelligent android user,, cause lets face it,, you have to be smart to use a smartphone, and since ip5 doesn't qualify as a smartphone so I think you deserve this expensive mistake,, stick with it geek,, cause a fully rooted,,jb powered with essential apps,,sg3 is a beast,, but I think you haven't tasted the full potential of your phone, you r not worthy to use android operating system, good old ios with manual user interface suits you best.
