I just upgraded to the iPhone 5 from the 3GS and I am very impressed with the phone. The speed is awesome and LTE is just amazingly fast. The taller screen and thinner phone are perfect, it fits in my pocket without it bulging. The feel and weight are also perfect in hand.
I used it without a cover for over a week with not scratches, its a shame to cover this beautiful phone but it goes on when I leave the house.
This phone is not for everyone, each has his or her own needs and tastes. For me it a familiar operating environment, its works flawlessly and syncs with iTunes on my Mac Book Air through my home network, no need to plug cables unless you want to restore the phones OS or do an update of the OS.
For those looking for a light and slim phone this is the perfect choice.

But people just want to believe the iPhone's better quality because it has the more expensive materials when it is 100% style over substance.
I mean metal's fine on a car because you just hammer the dents out but a dent in the iPhone is permanent, and I admit the S3 should have had better side protection which is why it breaks easier along with the sheer size of the screen but that's just the way it is.

I experienced it. A friend of mine has it & another has an S3. I have a Note II. Iphone 5 is really depressing

I was like most and got so worried reading about all the initial problems, then I played around with my friend's iPhone 5 and was super impressed.
Ordered mine, and checked in the store in case of any scratches and got a perfect unit. Best buy ever. This is a thing of beauty. Super fast (feels faster than my SGS3). Build quality, apps, games, this phone is simply phenomenal. I don't know how to describe it in words. SGS3 has the edge in screen size, which makes browsing a bit better, but I have to say iPhone 5 feels perfect in the hand.
It's a great smartphone. I am not saying its best, but anyone here saying they bought it and regret it, are simply lying. It is just not possible.

They never hold it, you'll know how solid it actually is in the hand despite being plastic.
Can the gsm and HSDPA version to be used at China using China Mobile Carrier service? Anyone had any idea?

Windows os is more promising compare to android. My android experience with xperia makes me want a ios 5 way back when im using xperia. And with the UI of window mobile I think its the best iphone alternative. Lumia got a nice design compare to samsung galaxy s3 though people will complain again about changing batteries.
An Android developer made 650,000 from fake apps while stealing users passwords and data.

therock, 19 Oct 2012yup, as far as nokia is...they are saying that nokia should have gone with android, instead of... moreNokia sells it's patents at reasonable market value but Apple often charges over twice as much for some patents to some companies than it does to others simply because they more of a competition and find any way possible to forcibly reduce profits and sales of it's competition, and sometimes instead of paying for a patent they just take companies to court because it's cheaper to use the broken US patent system for an easy victory than pay to keep using the patent.
