Mobilemaster, 18 Aug 2012There where touchscreen smart phone before the fist Iphone came out.Yeah there's a bunch of touchscreens before iphone came out.
But admit it all of them are laggy slow and not that responsive right?!
Apple introduced the improved touchscreen. They're the one who make it famous. They make it simple, smooth, super responsive and most of all they make it with their own design. And all other company just rush to copy its smoothnes and speed.
That's why until now only few phones out there can compete with iphone. Sgs3, htc oneX and xperia s maybe?
therock, 19 Aug 2012cool. mine, was the n93i. nokia really needs to get back in the game, but it will be hard for ... moreI had N93 model and it had the best keypad i think ive ever used it was so responsive and solid..Then where the days real gadgety smartfones..i go back further with the proper mobile phone with aerial for better reception and therefore better battery life..
Back to 2012 and things are quite miserable..Things do go in cycles even tho none believes me..At some point the smaller the mobile the more trendier..This will be solved with fold out screens..You can have mobile sized fone (not stupid 5.3inch)and just pull out the screen for web browsing etc..I have seen a black and white fold out screen by Philips.
these is very very good cell phone
same.. it looks the same as the 1st iphone in 2007 ... the S3 its way better..in everything.

Mobilemaster, 18 Aug 2012There where touchscreen smart phone before the fist Iphone came out.yup, there are. Apple repolished and redefined the touchcreen part, though.
i own an iphone 2g, 3g, 3gs, 4 and 4s, an ipod touch 4Gen, an ipad 2, an ipad 3 and a macbook pro, i also own samsung galaxy s3 so when an apple fanboy like me says the s3 is the best fone i have ever used, you just cant argue...
Over recent months we have had access to a wealth of information and leaks that have given us a picture to what lies ahead with the iPhone 5. Here I offer a summary of the key features that highlight the new iPhone 5 from Apple, both from the point of view of their characteristics and design.
Not long ago, Jonathan Ive, head of design at Apple gave an interview in which he said that he had participated enthusiastically in the most ambitious project of the company. Obviously, these words point to the iPhone 5, a smartphone that has the difficult task of reinventing both aesthetics and performance to continue to lead the market for high-end smartphones.
The first changes that can significantly differentiate the new generation Apple iPhone are implementations such as LTE and NFC connectivity, new processor and bigger screen.
The trend of the market, and users in general, is that of smartphones with larger screens. So Ive should have managed a design good enough to keep within allowable dimensions of the housing and in turn to accommodate a 4-inch display. After the appearance of numerous images, the bottom line is that we will see a longer iPhone 5. With respect to the width, 51.6 millimeters should be respected as a matter of convenience to preserve a solution for the optimal resolution for applications already available in the App Store. As for the thickness of the iPhone 5, the latest rumors suggest the iPhone 5 will be only 7.6 millimeters thick.
It is believed Apple has opted for a change of materials. If the iPhone 4S was dominated by glass, the iPhone 5 may be the turning point. All leaks coincide in a unibody design with a back cover made of metal. What we don't know so far is the type of alloy Apple has used. Besides the aesthetic change, a metallic finish would enhance the resistance of the casing, which was a missed point in the previous two generations. In addition, the cosmetic change would also help technical implications because metal is said to favor the reception of the wireless terminal.
Although it seems like more of a solution for the interior components, the truth is that it also has a direct impact on the aesthetics of the phone. There are strong indications that Apple will opt for a new smaller dock connecter and replace the current 30-pin dock. Specifically, images have appeared showing a 19 and 9-pin connector. Likewise, there is speculation that the company could move the famous Macbook Magsafe connections to the new iPhone 5.
With the replacement of the dock with a "mini Dock", Apple would have a larger hole to place a bigger and more responsive speaker. As in the previous section, the redesign of the bottom of the phone will affect the appearance of the model. Furthermore, this idea may be driven by an improved audio quality for the loudspeaker.
The leaked images of the iPhone 5 mainly reflect a model with slight tweaks, and every detail we see implies that Apple has devised many barely noticeable solutions, but with contrasting results. This applies to the front camera, it has been placed closer to the speaker. It is assumed this was done to make room for a modem to provide 4G LTE connectivity for the iPhone 5. In the case of the 3.5 mm Jack connection, it will move from the upper right to the lower left side. The reason could possibly be for the same purpose as the front camera, a redistribution of the internal components to optimize space.
Apple's next-generation iPhone is in the wings and will reportedly be introduced on Sept. 12th and the official iPhone 5 release date will be Sept. 21st. As always, to stay updated with all the latest iPhone 5 details and news, simply click subscribe below.
TMT, 18 Aug 2012not an apple fan but if these features r true i am actually considering buying it
used both... moreFor me there is not much hype in any of 2012 smartfone line up they are ALL boring souless slabs..
Now bring out all the hardware/software of SGS3 and put it into Nokia E90 or Sharp 940SH style device and that would be my perfect smartfone. No point asking apple they only do boring souless slabs..It is so easy for manufacturers to build todays smartfone no wonder they all jumped on the bandwagon.
not an apple fan but if these features r true i am actually considering buying it
used both windows phone and android
but i should say after using ipod touch i am actually thinking whats all the hype about apple
My second touchscreen smartfone was Sony Ericssons brilliant P800 followed by p900.Then ive had just about every smartfone except iphone 1,2,3 or whatever they call it.
The worst smartfone ive had i think is SPV E200 on Orange UK its battery was about 2-3 hours and it crashed like hell,,that said the super duper Xperia X1 was pretty bad too.
Peope buy Apple because it is famouse and there are no more flip and rotated phones, now a lot of people in U.S.A know for iPhone, next is Samsung and others phones, they are good but not as Nokia phones, Windows Phone 8 is going to be great and kick all! And also JAPANESE PHONES are best! Nokia and Japan forever! :D
