The phone might come with a hefty price tag and a compilation of hardware pieces that might have come out years ago on others devices, someone even mentioned that 1GB ram is not enough and that it's a joke. But, considering the aesthetic design, the slew of new features, the integration of both hardware AND software, this phone wins. What does it have over other devices in the market right now? To start, the hardware and the software just work seamlessly (You don't need more than a gig of ram to run iOS smoothtly)! As a gamer and UI designer, I can't wait to see what devs come up with. New APIs on iOS 8 are very promising, which will make apps better and more functional. The Android market is of poor quality, no one can say otherwise. The Apple app store might be plagued by pay-to-play freemium titles, but the android market is even worse. I can get all my google apps on iPhone, and sometimes they look better on the retina display than on their proprietary android device. The phone's size is just right, even if the iPhone is late to the party when it comes to screen size, it's now the best screen on the market. They said it themsleves "iPhone is the world most popular camera too", and they've outdone themselves. I have never taken a picture faster or better than on iPhone. For anyone that's looking for an elegant device that's sure to be the industry standard, that will provide great entertainment and a unique experience, this is the device to own. Don't focus on tech specs, looks, or price of the device. But how all of them work together to make the device the best iPhone yet. I am a great fan of Android as an operating system for tablets, in that case any tablet is better than an iPad. But the iPhone, it just doesn't have competition. Count on me being one of the eccentric consumers that is lining up starting at 6am at the Apple Store next Friday, getting a spay grey 4.7 model. Very excited! iPhone has come a long way :)
androidhardcore, 10 Sep 2014Bwahahahahahaahaha $1,000 for a dualcore 1GB RAM phone with 8MP cam, and 1MP selfie.. lolz.. d... moreI agree with not great camera and price part but disagree with you in rama nd processor part.As always dual core and lower ram is not a lack for iDevices. They perform better(sometimes not very much) than other flagships.
hellooooo almost $800 for what?
dual core and 1gb ram, apple need to get with it brother. soooooo last year,
techielover, 10 Sep 2014Does a quad core beat dual core processor?
Yes 2x far better and faster processing
And also 64bit at least needs 4gb of ram to run smoothly
what new in this its far away from nokia lumia 8.1 and android kit kat
androidhardcore, 10 Sep 2014Bwahahahahahaahaha $1,000 for a dualcore 1GB RAM phone with 8MP cam, and 1MP selfie.. lolz.. d... moreI am also a android fan but paper specs dont really matter. Jusy because it has 1gb of ram doesnt mean the performance is bad, the 5s has awesome performance and you rarely see anyway and tge performance of dual.core prossesor can easily compete with flagships. The camera is only 8 megapixels but the images of iphone 5s are still very sharp.and can compete with flagships and the iphone 6 camera has gotten even better if you at the camera samples that were leaked and also.it is a very slim phobe with is also a bonus so dont jugde a book by its cover and actually give this phone a chance to show itself!
700e for this hardware sh*t? no thanks
check out guys nexus 4 from 2012 its much better than this
I can say this phone is good if the price becomes half of the recently announced. Who is going to pay such a big money to buy this apple while better apple can be bought much cheaper. Actually that is apple ,apple is apple ,not a gold .
LOL those specs, check the calendar Apple we're in 2014, all the other big mobile brands are taking a crap on Apple at this moment
