i had been using android for years and just before a month i started using iphone 7. u can really feel the difference. the smoothness of this device just mindblowing. i as using htc m8 previosly and i was just i love with that phone. but iphone is too good. the only problem i felt is battery life. apple needs to improve in this part. in all other cases i am more than satisfied.

PrettyLittleLiarMalu, 30 Dec 2016Is the iphone camera the same as the one of SonyThe camera sensor of iPhones and most other smartphones are sony sensors, but the software optimization and graphics processing are made by Apple (the iphones) , iphones takes pictures with the best details than any other smartphones even sony itself because of their excellent chipset's, but they struggle a lot to give accurate and natural colors, image stabilization is not excellent like in the Xperia smartphones but it is great, dynamic range is just good.
Here's the explanation of processors I posted on an other page
The most important thing for a processor is the architecture. The more powerful the architecture is, the more performance you'll get per second.
The efficiency of a processor is also very important. It depends on the architecture. The more efficient the processor is, the less power you need per clock. That means you can also overclock your processor further without suffering from heating issues.
If those two are good, then you can scale the performance with the clock speed (those mysterious GHz-numbers, you know). As mentioned above, you can upscale this number as long as you don't have heating issues, but of course this also means it needs more power. So you have to decide between power-usage and performance.
The cores are just for making multiple tasks at once. For example, if a program is made for multi-core, it gives 50% of the work to one and 50% of the work to the other core, if we talk about dual core. But many programs don't have this support and also many don't need it. For example, you don't need that multi core performance for WhatsApp. The most prominent example for multi core use is video-rendering. But there really aren't many programs which need or support multi core on smartphones.
Also, those cores are divided in clusters. In the SD 821, you have 2 high performance cores and two low performance cores which work simultaneously. There are also SoCs like Apples A10 Fusion, where only 1 cluster works at once and the system switches between the high performance cluster and the low performance cluster.
Now to your wrong-interpretation of cores as being the most important thing. These phones you mean are often lower end phones, which have 8 of those low performance cores also used in flagships. But they can't deliver much performance because they are just made for light usage and low power usage. That's why an iPhone 5s performs in some tasks still better than a new low end octa-core device with 8 low performance cores. This "octa-core" is often just there for bragging with numbers and make people think they made a good buy. So you have to see everything from a processor, not just one number.
Also, these low performance cores are much smaller than high performance cores. iPhones perform best because they have less and bigger performance cores. Many other things are also important for performance, like storage speed (where Apple also is the leader with newest NVMe storage) and gaming performance depends on graphics card and resolution (the lower the resolution and the more powerful the graphics card, the better you can play a game. Another example where iPhones are also leading. They have best gaming experience because they have on par graphics cards with competition but lower resolution screen)

AloJawai, 31 Dec 2016I don't understand why Siri Its nor working I have enable the microphone and everything works ... moreI had this with my iPhone 5. The sad solution was that one microphone was broken and changing it would have costed 80€. But when this is iPhone 7, you still have guarantee so I would call Apple support and then I think they will give you a new (refurbished but at Apple, that's as good as new) one in Apple store.
I don't understand why Siri Its nor working I have enable the microphone and everything works perfect while sending voicenotes but Siri its not responding, I already check the the Internet connection, siri is enable I reset the networks I have try everything! Augh! does some of you have the same issue?
anasela, 30 Dec 2016Agreed based on the benchmarks. But by next year, I think the upcoming Snapdragon 835 will bea... moreIt actually won't. The only upcoming processor that has a chance with the Apple A10 Fusion is the Kirin 965 or Kirin 970. Also, the Kirin 960 is already the 2nd most powerful mobile processor after the Apple A10 Fusion.
anasela, 30 Dec 2016Agreed based on the benchmarks. But by next year, I think the upcoming Snapdragon 835 will bea... moreI wouldn't be that sure. The new SD835 will still use UFS although it will be the new iteration 2.1 and we yet still don't know how it compares to NVMe. Furthermore, the iPhone will still have much higher single core performance because it's high power cores are huge. So Android Apps will have to optimize more for multi-core. But it will be a close and exciting race
anasela, 30 Dec 2016Agreed based on the benchmarks. But by next year, I think the upcoming Snapdragon 835 will bea... moreHighly unlikely. Pre-results of Snapdragon 835 are pretty poor compared to A10.
Anonymous, 28 Dec 2016Should I go for the iPhone 6s 64gb or the iPhone 7 32gb?why buy a 64gb on iphone 6s if you only need a 32gb on the iphone 7?
