Any one still have the problems of ghost touch and battery automatically shut down after warranty?
Hi. Im currently using fonepad fe171cg. I bought it not more than 2 months ago. I have lots of problem with the touchreen. First is the "ghost tap". It taps everywhere that my tab is going haywire. Second, the touchsreen is veryyy damn insensitive. I need to press it hard and most of the time it does not detect at all. I already try to factory reset it, but the problems are still there.
Am I only the one who having issue with touchscreen? Some parts of screen need hard touch before can response. I don't have such issue with fonepad 8. Really frustrating when play Coc cant sent the troop to field.
This also my first asus device and the issue is the touch screen. Theres a part of screen that need to hard touch. I dont know if other asus device for touch screen is have like this. For me i will not try again for this brand. Sony, lg, and samsung are my experience have no issue and proven.
Hi, I bought Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) on 19-Apr-2015 from Flipkart. Sometime by start of Jun my fonepad developed yellow lines on the display. I submitted my fonepad for repairs on 13-Jun-2015 (because i was told that it will not be replaced even though its under warranty). I was told that the main board and LCD needs to be replaced. Within 2 months of purchasing, main board and LCD develops an issue?? Seriously ASUS??
I emailed email@example.com on 17-Jun asking for status. No reply. I sent a follow up email on 23-Jun. Got a reply on 24-Jun with standard apologies and asking some engineer to help me with my query. No reply from that engineer. In the mean time i called up their customer service number and got a date of 24-Jun and then 30-Jun for me to get my fonepad back. Today, 29-jun, no signs of my product. so called up ASUS customer service again and they gave me a new date of 7-Jul-2015.
Guys, i have bought many gadgets and this is the worst product and customer support I have ever got. I hope ASUS is serious about their business in India because going by my experience, it does not look to be so.
I hope whoever is reading this compliant is willing to take the risk of possible faulty product and super frustrating after sales service.
Have partial success sending youtube video to tv which has a Miracast dongle. However audio disappears after couple of minutes. Also wifi direct can't seem to maintain connection, need to use play to function on the pad instead which detects the dongle on the TV. Any idea how to fix audio problem?

I just bought this Pad Yesterday, and i already have these problems:
1. It auto "tap" on the screen and my whole pad is going haywire bcos there is a "ghost" tapping on it!!!
2. Insensitive touchscreen. Horrible. U've to press HARD
3. Battery is ok for 1 day for MODERATE use. If you play games, kantoi in 2 hours (for new ones).
I paid RM799 for this donkey and i am returning it today in Lowyat Plaza.
