AnonD-669, 19 Sep 2013Do the LTE connectivity is just for mobile data? Or it can make calls and send text messages?no calls no messages no texting -- all tablets --all ipads.. cellular connection only for data .. skype shall work though ..we had this info from techgeeks today ..in fact- either buy a phablet- like samsung mega 6.3 or sony or asus fonepad etc.. our conclusion is that samsung offer best overall specs for at least 2yrs from purchase on newer models -- if u wonna replace ur laptop -then perhaps google chromebook ..

best tab in the market till now
This tablet is inmatured.
missing compass, SD card slot, JAVA, GSM voice, XviD, DivX video codec etc etc.
Wait for the official realese in India, I cnt understand why its not launched in India yet inspite of huge demand here, really worthless launching too late in India. I think it will b a old fashion tab when it ll hit an indian market, better go for new tab mate

PhilNexus, 21 Sep 2013Thanks, Aneef. I read your other reply. Was able to use the OTG cable successfully using Nexus... moreI'm glad it worked.
Since Nexus Media Importer supports only read only capabilities, so there is another way to write the files to USB keeping your Nexus in non rooted condition. Download Total Commander App from Play Store. After downloading , download its plugin 'USB stick plugin - tc' from play store, connect USB via otg, open total commander app and there you will see the explorer directory for your USB with read and write capabilities :-)

M31, 17 Sep 2013are you using the usb drive without rooting? Yes, without rooting. Using the nexus media importer app. though it is read only but works for me. I got loads of movies in my 16 GB Sony USB and I play it directly from the USB in my nexus. Streams perfectly. No need to copy
