Nexus 7 Has no Micro-SD slot and I was not going to buy it for that sole reason. There's a solution.USB OTG cable plug it into your Nexus 7, download the Nexus Media Importer app from Google Play and then connect hard drive or flash drive you want.
I always love 7-inch tablet because it's more suitable for playing games. It comes with a new display of 1200x1920 resolution, it's really impressive. Also, the Snapdragon S4 Pro has a great performance of playing games, we can call it a gaming device almostly. Finally, it's user-friendly price is very attractive, so it's very suitable for the people who want to use less money for buying a good device.
Anyone manage to get the cellular model? Is it capable to SMS, MMS and make phone call? Or just basically mobile data?
nickyb, 26 Jul 2013What most people don't understand, is that a MicroSD card slot costs alot of money to make and... moreagree...you want cheap device with high performance Don't complaint...thx God asus made it for us the CONSUMER!
More Ram size More cpu speed is better...indeed some special case cpu single core speed may equal to dual core cpu depends what tech its use...BUT for Apple case ? i called it "sarcasm"...open your mind or go to school more.

Why is it that none of the Google dictated products support an SD Card slot?

Jawwad, 26 Jul 2013Why vendors don't mostly go for Aluminium cases like HTC? These plastic devices are quite sens... morebecause plastic is durable, flexible and cheap.. aluminum only looks classy and adds the premium feel to a phone..

actually you guys people to... moreHow do you know? Have you used the device?
Stock Android is butter smooth on quad core and 2GB RAM and the difference between smoothness on iOS and Android is almost invisible. Yes, Android does need 2GB RAM, but that 2nd gig of RAM really counts in terms of performance.
Hey guys, did anyone realize that the original Nexus 7 had a bigger battery than the 2nd generation even though the newer Nexus 7 has a higher resolution screen that will theoretically need more battery life. Besides the fact that the processor would handle the battery better than previous generations (not by much), capacity should be going up when we advance in to the future, not go pummeling down.
eby, 26 Jul 2013Wen the ipad mini 2 comes it stil wnt beat the nexus 7 2nd gen...apple sucks at high cpus n nl... morewell, i am not apple fans or android fans

actually you guys people too spec-minded and forget that different OS (in this case android and ios) can not be measured just like that.
the actual perfomance is what we need.
don't get me wrong, i am not saying nexus 7 2nd generation's perfomance is beneath ipad mini. i just want to correct this guy's wrong perception
