This phone has the great LBS features & Navigation accuracy built-in which usually I use while travelling, as I can easily find out any thing from banking to food to any hangouts, so its cool..... Only disadvantage I felt is there is no vedio player and memory extension... so ok...No probs while getting all the best feature of navigation and LBS...

This is a great little phone. It is fast and responsive, easy to navigate, and the cradle with built in charger is briliant. It comes with a first class full feature Garmin GPS navigation tool in a smartphone! It was a little pricey at first but I noticed that AT&T has brought the bundle price down and that'a a good thing :p

> In reply to Hi-Tek @ 2009-03-12 09:58 from ImkfThis is gps centric phone. Nowadays there are so many types of functions, one has to choose what is most important to u .If LBS and GPS is not so important to u, then u shldn't buy this phone. But for me, I am waiting to buy a gps unit and this fits in nicely without having another device to keep/handle. And it so convenient to take it out of the car (theft),use it as a phone and plug it in when u are back in the car.
If music, radio, pictures etc is important , then choose other phones. There are so many to choose from.If budget is not a constraint go for the IPhone3gs but unfortunately for most of us, it is.
If the nuvifone can be a bit cheaper , it would be fantastic.

as g60 is a gps oriented smartphone, i find that opening an application is really smooth. changing of landscape to portrait mode is really smooth if we compare with those pda phones running on wm and android. sms is still threaded and u can even change the whole operating system to chinese since it is linux based. for those who used wm before, you are able to transfer your contacts and calendars info, you can sync the phone to Outlook using the nuviphone sync agent (cd provided in the package).

In regards to no MP4 support. The phone is Linux based and if it is open then getting a compatible app fro MP4 will be as easy as finding a corrupt politician.
I currently have an Xperia X1 and that will be replaced with this once the contract has run out.
