> In reply to Wisetechie @ 2008-09-05 14:44 from vwuqHi,
Thanks for the update, was curious, can you flash a HTC ROM onto this device or are the ROMs hardware specific ? There is a popular one out there called Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid.
Any improvement post flashing ?
Cheers

I have flashed the ROM and it went perfectly well.
I had a Sandisk card, 4GB SDHC
The process on the Asus site is a little wrong, after copying the files onto the SDHC card, the phone needs to be normally rebooted once.
The normal reboot will extract the files to the card.
Now do the volume key reboot, and the progress bar will increase slowly.
After windows is installed, it will launch auto installer which will launch the Asus utilities.
Note : I take no responsibility for above process, please backup all data and proceed at your own risk. Keep battery charged and keep phone plugged in.
Thanks

I have been running PointUi on the handset and have noticed that it drains my battery like hell even after going to standby mode . Any one faced this problems.
Also there are a lot of ROMs available out there ? Anyone flashed theirs till now ? Do share the experience.
Regarding programs, S2P is a better player than Pocket Player, S2V is also available for picture but I haven't used it yet.
Cheers

Hello everyone,
I installed Garmin Que thinking it will work, but it turned out to be only for bluetooth receiver of Garmin. I uninstalled the software from the settings. But the problem i am presently facing is, i get this annoying dialogue telling "storagecard/garmin/garmin Que not found". I think its checking it everytime i try to access GPS from another software.
I wanted to know if there is anything like msconfig / boot.ini for win mobile as in windows desktop?? or is there any other solution??
Had installed registry cleaner and found no errors with registry. Kindly help.
Thanks in advance.

this place already has most of the FAQs regarding the phone well answered, all ppl need to do is glance before they post...
once again, thx for ur contribution to all the posts.

Most people visit these kind of forums before they actually decide on buying a particular phone - so, it is pretty natural for them to compare 2 models which are quite similar in platform, price and form factor. As far as P320 vs. Touch, the detailed comparisons have already been posted many times on these pages - so, anyone should be able to go back and take a look at them.

> In reply to Jay @ 2008-08-31 17:58 from 2S}BGetting this error message usually means that your phone cannot connect to the internet. You have to check your connections settings and wifi settings. It looks like you have set it up for GPRS connection as a priority over wifi...

> In reply to [deleted post]hi k,
im confused as to y u r putting forward this question in this thread. this is exclusively for p320 and obviously everyone here suggests/supports the same.
only adv of htc seem to be more memory and a hard screen. disadvt are that is is bigger, no gps and older winmo version.
the facts are clear, the decision is for u to take.
let us know what u finally decide.

> In reply to t-dome @ 2008-08-30 10:23 from 0U4gHey t-dome,
Im yet to perform the upgrade to the latest bios version.
Also, i have tried to run some games on the emulator, but havent managed to get it right yet...
I'd request others also to share the software that they are using.
And to all those having trouble getting a lock on the GPS, PLZ UPDATE UR GPS DATA. It'd work perfectly after that.
I've tried posting earlier, but the post gets moderated and never comes online.
Wish u all a good day!

> In reply to Martin De'Cruze Jose @ 2008-09-01 14:17 from vG1Ehi martin, in case u dont find retailers for this fone, u might very well buy it online.
Most of the useful accessories are included. Im wondering what else u'll actually need. Since it works thru a USB port, it wont be that hard to find either.
Also, this is NOT a chinese phone. It is a top of the end fone, available to us at a great price. It runs windows mobile 6.1, one of the most advanced mobile phone OS. No chinese phone can match the features and quality of this one.

> In reply to Sumeet @ 2008-09-01 15:23 from PBBeSumeet, It is true that most HTC phones have 2.8" LCD screens, while most ASUS ones are only 2.6", but honestly speaking, the difference is not very visible.

> In reply to Ritesh @ 2008-09-01 14:00 from 2Z9CRitesh, This would really depend on the programs which you are installing - some provide you with the option of choosing the target destination, while some just select the phone memory by default. You can try moving some installed programs to the storage card and adjust the related shortcuts, but there is no guarantee that this will work in all cases.
