Hi all. Bought P525 last year. Good pda. Now having problem with it, when i unlock the phone it, it come on camera and voice command and sometimes it is blocked. whats the problem. can anyone help. thank you and God bless!

it is the best pda i ever had,, its solid nice to hold, and easy to use, n best thing is wifi bluetooth works very smooth,,i can recomend this phone in normal buget,camera is better then other pda of asus, even better then p750 or p320 cause of autofocus n led flash to balance,, so be happy n buy it

IS a very good device, in my opinion is the best I had, I upgraded to wm 6, 6.1 , 6.5 ( professional ) installed over 200 games and applications , I use it with external gps , almost in house all the time with WI-fi on , best best best , camera is I think the best ever camera on a device with wm, and we all know at least until the upper (>2mpx) the camera sucks on that devices. About Baterry , very good ( I use a program called xcale over clock , what keeping my device in 104mghz when I don't used, and when I need is up to 624Mghz. Played Tony Hawk Pro skater II on him... well all done Asus.

It's really a good phone...I'm just wondering, I upgraded to WinMo 6, phone seems to be slower than usual? Is this because of upgrade? Is there a solution?

to all asus user pls help me how can i use txt mssg w/out stylus? and english coz got here in saudi arabia arabic mssg..... and where can i get Cd from phil and orther accessories?

I list out steps to flash the new ROM

Upgrade your bootloader 07xxxxxxxx download it (http://rs108.rapidshare.com/fi...tGalaxy.zip) unzip and paste file to SD card. Press voice recorder button plus soft reset.bootloader will upgrade.

1. Download the latest ROM from (http://rapidshare.com/files/14...om.rar.html)
2. Unzip the file using WinRar
3. Format you MiniSD card (the best way) to make sure it empty
4. Copy “ASUS.UnlockLangID.exe” and “ROMGalaxy.nb0″ to your MiniSD card.
5. Click on the “ASUS.UnlockLangID.exe” while it loading push the camera and the soft reset button. Wait until it completed.
6. Push standby button and soft reset button in order the apply the change.

If you want to upgrade your radio version from P535 (version a.4.9.1), download it (http://rapidshare.com/files/12...91.rar.html)

I bought this product a few months back and soon I found it not working. At first I thought I was to get used to its features. The vendor to whom I took it did some thing and said it was a minor glitch and it would work well again. After a few days i found the problem again and could not use it any more. This time the vendor referred me to a service station. It was in Noida and it took a hell of a lot time to locate him only to find the office empty. After some time some one arrived and with a cold shoulder nonchalantly replied that the computer was not working and there was no electricity. He asked me to contact him. He did not even give me a receipt bvut scirbbled in a blank paper and asked me to come again after getting the phone confirmation. After some time he said that the mother board needed replacement and was not in stock either with him or with his Bombay office. In a few days I got back the piece and it was done free. Once again after some time the touch screen did not work and I could no longer use it again. This time I went over to the service station only to be turned away to Delhi where I received a cold shouldered response. He gave me a receipt without any address, serial no and asked me to come again. The next day he told me that the LED WAS DAMAGED and needed replacement on chargeable basis. As he found perfume smell (which I did not smell) he assumed that moisture has creeped in and damaged the LED. I told him to take it up with his superiors but he refused and insist on payment. I agreed under protest and on the third day he called me to take the phone. When I went and checked it was again not working. Once again the new LED did not work and failed right in my the presence of the Service Engineer who replaced it and others present. The SE put up a poor face and said that this was because the LED product failed this time. Fofr my query as to why the LED could not have failed as a product even the earlier instance he could not answer. The way the office is conducted the Manager interacted and they dealt with the complaint all indicated a kind of total inefficiency andnot genuinely involved. The so called 'quality, speed, innovation integrity and servixce. so boastfully inscribed on the wall of the office there seemed fake.

how did you guys solve the wifi problem?

my unit can connect wifi, but it cannot be used to surf sites.

also, my 5 key fails to work at times.

will these problems be solved if i upgrade to wm6? if i upgrade, what will happen to my contacts and other data in my phone?

sorry i have lots of questions

if you use vista, theres no more need for drivers activesync, and other poor softwares. go to http://www.microsoft.com/windo...-center.mspx and download device center for free to sync your device with pc. it works perfect. but symbian is much more better OS, so dont use it:)
