Guys,

Is there anyone who can direct on how to use the P525 as a phone modem?

I have tried and the computer detect the modem link but there is no driver available.

Hehe orange, obviously you have had a bad experience but I have very good experience with wm6!!! And I was informed from one person who work in ASUS!!!! The english wm6 will never be relised on the official site of asus because of contract with Microsoft!! But this rom that I have works superbly, evrything is fine!!! Advo You have evrything,only Businesscard, voice command you havent!!!

Thank you so much for the info! I really appreciate what you said. In relation to your query on wm5 firmware, did you try to use the firmware at the asus website? I have read the threads from hany that you can use the firmwares at asus website and install it.

Not so good WM6 the one posted here. You can find some developer that WM6 can work well but not official from asus. if you want a problem later on for your P525 go on try all Unofficial WM6. On my experience after Upgrade to WM6 my unit hang every time I used for call and text. This time Im looking for WM5 to reload old program.

Rajko, thanks for your info! aside from the BCR and VC are there other applications and functions from the original that have not been configured? Like, sms, mms, gprs, notes, task, calendar, hand writing recogniton, voice recorder, camera, t9, etc?
My apology for this boring inquiry. I just need to compare whether I really should upgrade to wm6 or stay with wm5.

Hi advo!!! First, in wm6 you havent Businesscard recognition and voice command, but you have many better things!!! Evrything is working perfectly!!! I'm so surprised with how it works!!!

Hello to all P525 Users.
Would all of you who upgraded to wm6 wwe pls be kind to give your opinions. I just want to know the advantage and disadvantages between using the wm5 and upgrading to wm6. Furthermore, when upgrading to wm6, did all the features of p525 function properly. like the business card reader, blue tooth, wifi, voice command, etc. also do you still need to upgrade to the new radio firmware the the asus website recommends.

Please enlighten me on these. I own a p525 and it works well with wm5. However, I heard that wm6 is better. your assistance is very much appreciated.

Hi ekswind!!! Wm6 have better interface than wm5,wm6 is more stabile and have many advantages!!!! Upgrade your phone with hany's rom and you will see!!!

Tnx Cruise!!!! First format the MiniSD memorycard, than extract the files of the rom into your card and put it to the phone! Press the camera button and reset button at the same time and follow the screen and wait while it is instaling! At the end your phone will have wm6 which works superbly!!! I forgot to tell you plug your phone into your charger and good luck!!!
