Hi

Can anyone please tell me where the P527 stores data received from other devices through bluetooth? I've been trying to transfer images from another cellphone, the P527 receives, asks me if I want to store it in the device, I confirm, but then I can't find anything. I presume the data is not stored in the storage card, can I change that? Thanks

Just got it since jan 2009. Got good features and programmes. Slight drawback. Not quite "user friendly" for phone-user only. Just 2 days giving problem. Not able to send and receive message. Pop up box stating problem with voice command. Need to restart voice command. did that but problem still persists. Nee help here.

> In reply to KenYatta @ 2009-08-26 12:33 from 4mD$why are all guys after bilal after his declaration , `i have made my phone superfast'. it is nothing fancy here. maybe he has just installed overclocked his phone with the relevant softwares. the popular softwares are ` ImmierSoft XCPUScalar, homescreen plus or Homescreen plus plus, tomap overclock, wizcode pocket hack master and many more, google them with the words `overclock texas instrument omap 850' - they are all over the internet. but remember do not overclock more than 240 mhz and it will fry your phone and the trade off would be more heat and less battery. upgrade your phone to the latest rom, it gets rid of the asus's very own today homescreen launcher which consumes lot of memory that would help too

Had this phone for over a year. I find the best app combo for this phone is SPB Shell 3.0 for its superior award winning user interface and TomTom Navigator 7 for it's top-of-the-line GPS. You may also want to get a keyboard application so you can get big enough keys and not need to use the stylus.

I think I have successfully made my Asus better than the iPhone and the HTC touch pro...combined!

Hi Bilal,

I have recently purchased the ASUS P527 PDA from my friend it is a used PDA but in excellent condition everything is working fine but i have a few questions for which i am looking for the answers from you as you are already an user of the same model,my questions are as follows;

Question-1) I have got 2 CD'S from the box i installed both the CD'S but i still cannot connect my phone to my Desktop or to my Laptop as i need to use it as a modem as well as i need to synchronize my phone as a PC SUITE how we do for NOKIA phones.

Question-2) How do i install software's on my ASUS P527 ?

Question-3) How to copy all my Sim card contacts to ASUS P527 Contacts ?

Question-4) What is the size of expandable memory of this phone is it possible to go up to 8gb or 16gb ?

Question-5) I have a few you tube downloaded videos and other videos which i am not able to play kindly suggest how can i enjoy my videos ?

While using P527 somwhow OS 6.1 got corrupted and after retoring default settings I am still getting some files corrupted message.
So I think I need to reinstall the OS 6.1. Some can please help me know from where i can get OS and how to install? Thanks in advance - salil

i'm unable to update my p527 os through "setting --> system --> Windows update" error msg : "Connection to Update server was not avaliable. check your data connection settings and ensure the device date and time are correct." plz gudie me to resolve this issue.

Hi balaji well you can get it in the cd supplied with the phone the sftware is called as ms active sync and i think the new version is 4.5 ,if the operating system you are using is vista then youdo nt need one as it gets sync option once you connect your phone to it.you can also download it from the net.
