sorry guys but i think once you disable the on screen keypad you can type in the message with the help of keypad i dont know w hoever said that might have never used a win mobile.cmon this is common sense no company would make a mobile phone espeacially a pockey pc keypad just for dialling.

Hi,

Excellant PDA worth buying in 12k , what more u expect ( GPS, wi , windows mobile 6.1 , touch + keyboard both )

ya phone have some -ive but who doesnt hve , count the +ive yar .. life time gps excellant .. u can install any no. of s/f , SD memory can extend up to 8gb , Its a only PDA having FM with touch + keyboard offering in 12k , dont go on its -ive comments , as those peoples r not even knw how to use it , as they can only satisfy themself with the interface of nokia and dont wana try sumthing else..

Rest i hve bought it last week n i m pretty happy n impressed with the phone... n asus service is good i hve registered on asus website and i hve some techincal issues which i got solved there ..

-ive : slow processor if u hve opened too many application , camera is ok ok ...

if u hve any question related to it let me knw

I'm also facing the same problems for last 8 months with 2 repairs done by Asus repair center but no luck.
The phone is highly unstable with frequent hanging.In a day if i'm using it's main features ,i end up with 2-3 times phone hang.

hi friends.i purchased asus p527 mainly storing books and academic purpose..thought its keypad is functional and i can type like normal phones..but disappointed when i found out i cant use keypad to type messages or ms word..its very tiring to type from the small touch keypad on screen..please sugest if by anyway we can use normal keypad for input...and MR.BILAL can you please mail me those softwares...i used o2,htc ppc's..asus is cheap and performance is also ok...

I am using this phone for more than a year now & i havent faced any sort of problem with the device, but now there is a problem which i ve encountered & that is the phone is not showing the recent call details, the last call which its showing is of 2 days back, i cant chk the recent missed/recieved/dialled call, Could any body help me in that, i am In delhi so pls tell me the address of the authorized service center.

I have purchased new P527 mobilr my first window mobile.
i have taken some song via bluetooth on my Ausus P527. It gets stored in MY Device. But to my surprise I am not able to retreiev as to where it gets stored? How can I store the files directly into my memory card?
Kindly guide.

This is the worst phone I have used!!! I purchased my phone 4 months ago, and have spent the last 3 months trying to get a solution to my issues, which ASUS customer care is unable to give me a proper reply to.

Can anyone give me solutions to the following?
1. My phone loses network frequently. This is not a SIM issue since I dont have the same problem with my SIM card in another phone and while standing in the same place.
2. My phone hangs when idle. Those who try to call me in emergencies, just get a message that my phone is switched off.

When I got in touch with the ASUS service centre, I was told to do a hard reset of my phone and then to install the latest firmware. But this has not helped. Can someone assist me please????

hi guys ive been using this hdset fr quite smetime now.its very nice and quite fast after installing the softwares.its my 6th windows mobile and i know how2 handle this.i dnt know why people like ramya misguide people.tell me a which windows mobile in the market gives you these features in this price.Do find out and let me know trust me this is an awesome device if used properly like other devices.DONT LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE JUST STARTED USING MOBILE PHONES FOR THEM IT SHUOULD HAVE HAVE BEEN THE OLD HEAVYWEIGHT HANDSETS AND NOT WINDOWS OR ASUS MOBILE:ISNT IT?
