imagine this kind of phone+tablet+keyboard form in windows8 OS with RIM's BES feature... that would be "don't need anything else" business tools!

This is the future folks. It runs a lightly skinned android - no more touchwiz or sense lag. No more dongles to get internet on my laptop, just use the cell internet. You get USB ports for flash drives and mice. And to top it all off, phone tablet and keyboard have MASSIVE extra batteries. You can charge the phone by putting it into the tablet. Incredible battery life. Runs dual core krait. Performance on par or better than one x, and s3...about the same price as a decent laptop for whole set

Samsung is good but it's not used to compare in this situation. BTW, Asus is not a cheap company, it's leading the world in making mainboard.

I tried the phone at the telco. Pressed the 'enter' key but it does not go to a row. The only way to go to new row is auto-wrap at the end of the current row as you type.
Anyone able to confirm and get around this problem?

And just so you know, the dual-core Krait in this one is equal to the quad-core in the s3.
Good for you that you like your S2, but there's so many other and much better phones out there.

I am a great fan of Asus. Their products - particularly laptops are great, I should say best. I used different laptop brands, but found Asus as most convenient, easy, with flexibility of operation, and also hardy. The same should be true for its phone... would try surely...

yes, the s2 is a good phone, and last year there weren't much competitors in the android world, but this year is going to be different, you have LG stepping up to the plate with their 4x, the one X is really nice not forgetting sammy's SIII, upcoming note 2 and of course the padfone, asus isn't cheap, they probably made the motherboard sitting in ur computer right now, and their laptops and transformer series really outshines the other computer manufacturers.

windows 8 as it stands is like what windows 95 used to be. there is a lot of promise but as the 3rd party softwares are still far from being compatible with win 8, the transition between win 7 and win 8 UI will leave quite a few users frustrated. i like their vision with win 8 but it is still a while off.
