Precisely what I'd have written. I've tried a few different roms; none make the performance acceptable. Why oh why didn't I go with the nexus 10? :-(

I own a TF700t and also an older TF101. I'm happy with with my TF700, but yes, 2g memory is better than 1g (the tf701 has 2g but also -- even used -- is more expensive). I bought my TF700 on ebay for 230 dollars, with keyboard included. Yes, running ...

I own the Asus TF700T tablet for two years now. It is a nice piece of hardware, but its default software is very bad. I recommend to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP recovery, and replace the stock Asus ROM with CROMBi-kk ROM which is Android 4.4....
