Guys...
This is the best phone in this price range. I have been using the 2GB RAM phone for around 2 months and seriously no issues with it. Phone runs perfectly. No lags. After updating its software, its performing far better. Camera is the best only if you know how to use it. This is a must buy phone. Its 10/10 from my side. There are many other phones offering same specifications in lower prices, but in the end quality matters which i got in my Asus Zenfone 2. Go get it.
reading the reviews I am so confused to buy zenfone2 or htc any phone within this price
Rahul, 05 Jul 2015After using this phone for 2 months , i have come to the point that this is a big flop flagshi... moreI have also a live with Walkman screen quality wnd sound quality is good but its not fair to compete it with zenfone
AnonD-413391, 05 Jul 2015How do I get rid of and uninstall unnecessary ASUS inbuilt apps?Go to apps drawer, touch the 3 dots at the right hand corner. Select uninstall. Touch on the small cross on the right hand top corner of every app that is uninstallable. Many In built apps can be installed from there.
After using this phone for 2 months , i have come to the point that this is a big flop flagship phone ever in the history of any mobile company. The screen and the sound quality of My old 'live with walkman' phone from sony Ericsson is way, way better than this rubbish.
It's been a month using this phone. The first day i bought it I immediately updated the system 3 times and have no big issues except RAM usage easily over 50% in this huge 4GB RAM for a smartphone. Mostly taken by the OS and the ZenUI I think. But I really love ZenUI design compare to other android smartphone UI. Yesterday had the last update and that issue is fixed, the RAM has more space than before (at least it won't reach 50% unless I run so many apps).
Battery life is about 8-12 hours depend on usage, which is actually enough for it going half a day. Its fast charging is really helpful for me.
Back & front camera is pretty impressive especially in bright outdoor light. Super resolution mode creates a really sharp image (in good lighting condition of course). Beautification mode is also great for taking a selfie. Camera quality is very good for social media purpose, and is comparable with other flagship phone. In low light condition...so-so, I rarely take pictures in low light condition with smartphone so it's acceptable for me. If you expect more just go buy some mirrorless camera with built in wifi or DSLR not a smartphone.
Performance is really great. Although you can't compare it with flagship chipset like snapdragon 8xx series, but supported with 4GB RAM is an advantages. It is very rare to experience lag.
Overall this is the most valuable phone in its price range. The performance, camera, UI, battery life, etc is worth it. If you're not satisfied with it, seek for a better smartphone in the higher price range.
Many dislike for its gloomy display brightness under bright sunlight and capacitive buttons with no backlight but those are not a big deal for me. Heating issue during charging is acceptable (except you heavily use the phone while charging it will definitely went overheat), but over the last 2 weeks I never experience that heating issue anymore.
The only problem that bother me is the bloatware is such a waste for the memory and can't be uninstalled, you can only disable the app. And the original accessories is rarely available in my country up until now.
That's all for my opinion, thanks.

Bought this camera on May 24, 2015. This phone was a complete disaster. Bad battery. Bad camera. Very unstable. And it died twice ever since. They replaced it the first time. Its in the service center now. They say some issue with the board. Have asked them refund. Hope they oblige.
guys I am going to buy this phone asus zenfone 2 ze551ml..what is your opinion?
I just got the latest system update few days ago, and HONESTLY, camera is now pretty fixed, it's doing good now and TRUST ME guys, the camera quality isn't bad anymore after update.
BUT, 2 issues.
1st : Double tap to awake is not really responsive sometimes
2nd : Screen is acting up, like some part of the screen is being repeatedly touched, that makes me unable to touch anything because it won't respond when this happens. There was nothing touching the phone I'm sure. It already happens 3-4 times.
Anyone experiencing the same thing? What should I do???
initially thought it as a awesome phone and quite astonished by its features but the reviews made me sad and changed my opinion. My friend has brought it 2 days before...but I'm thinking how he will react when i will say about the reviews...he is going for a loss
A Big disaster.
The phone is very poor in the following,
1. The Camera is very poor, do not expect big from the name 'PIXEL MASTER', like me. If you buy this phone, then forget that you have a camera phone. I lost intrest in taking photos, So poor camera.
2. ASUS, ZEN are the two words you see in the phone with many applications from ASUS. ZEN UI, what I feel is ASUS is at Elimentary level of research in creating UI, where other phone makers are at PG level. Frankly speaking, after buying a phone with Big Specification, you can not pass little time with the phone, so poor UI and very few settings you can change.
3.The worst thing is Battery. I am fearing to use it. Otherwise its count down timer, the battery percentage will be falling like countdown timer. And the great thing here I wish to inform is, the inbox USB cable quality is so poor, that it do not 'Quick Charge'. The first day insted of using new cable, I used my old cable, and got quick charging. the 2nd day when I used inbox cable, no 'Quick Charge'. Fianlly I found out that the cable quality is very poor.
4.Screen is very dull.
The only good thing in the phone is, the touch is very good.
A lesson I learned, never beleive 'BIG SPECIFICATIONS'
pritiano, 04 Jul 2015Azus zenfone 2 is good specification .above 400 ppi gives a perfect and sharp 5.5 inch display... moreHi dude u r d only 1 person I 've seen commenting 100./. Positive about this so far many 've some way issues I appreciate ur sense of humour great plz continue bcuz many r getting defective pieces from asus I too 've got d same n I m replacing I can't say it's an a very device bcuz it fails at a price of 15000.re(230$) n son tryna it lag also the touch
Using this phone for over a month now.
PROS:-
Its superfast
No lags
Buttery smooth touch and screen responds in a fraction of second.
Good audio quality
Screen visible enough even under afternoon hot sun
Videos are nice with perfect resolution
Camera more than OK.
Battery also just up to the expectations and lasts easily for 1 day even after numerous calls and internet browsing.
CONS:-
Only dampener is the unnecessary inbuilt ASUS apps. They are just annoying.
Also, too many frequent updates for its OWN apps and that too consumes lot of data. Its a killer thing. Need an urgent fix before public perception starts dwindling.
How do I get rid of and uninstall unnecessary ASUS inbuilt apps?
Does anyone else experience little faded color when playing Clash of Clans?
