help please :-)
i have a confusion about asus camera :-) can this beat samsung 8mp cameras?? :-)
if yes, i will get my dream phone. ^_^
thank you all :-)
Hypertreading or not is not the issue for this 199 beast.
But the POWER-VR 6430 in this beast is an overclock version than the one inside
Intel Atom 3580 - 136.4 gflops
Apple a7 - 115 gflops
This phone easily reaching the iphone 6 performance based on the paper technical
I cant wait to see the performance benchmark for this $199 beast.bring on Asus.
Sta-ko, 01 Feb 2015It's not better then intel if they fix the heating.. Try use divice whit intel inside.. No lag... moreLast gen Intel processors like the one in Zenfone 5 was based on 32nm process and thus was really inefficient but this one is based on 22nm(like Exynos 5430 and upcoming SD810) so it will have much better efficiency.
So Kool, 01 Feb 2015Yu Yureka is much better with 1.5 GHZ Octa core processor + CYNOGENMOD + Radio + Removable Bat... moreYu uses a ARM big Little octa core of Cortex A53 low power cores and only 4 at 1.5 and the other 4 at 1ghz. And the GPU is adreno 405 which is just adreno 320 level performance.
On the other hand this is a 1.8ghz quad core based on much superior architecture and delivers performance that can even beat Snapdragon 800. So how exactly is yureka better?
So Kool, 01 Feb 2015Yu Yureka is much better with 1.5 GHZ Octa core processor + CYNOGENMOD + Radio + Removable Bat... moreReally, in your opinion its better? let's compare.
Asus 1080p , Yu 780p
Asus 4GB ram, Yu 2GB
Asus has long lasting batteries, Yu has battery issues.
Processor - asus has quad core 2,3, Yu has octa core 1,5. Let's do math. Asus in total has 9,2, Yu 10, but Intel is boosted and in my oppinionn still better than that.
I will not even mention cameras, Asus has great one.
The only thing is price. For 4GB version it probably will be twice as Yu's. But still, it will get new updates, Android updates, while Yu will slowly become more and more useless without any updating.
seems promising though its true that higher and more cores doesn't seem to be the concern nowadays. for me this phone actually fits the basic needs of the user. aside from that having it's name makes more reliable in terms of service.

Try use divice whit intel inside.. No lag, no hang, evriting is momental, multitasking is child game, but it is (or it was in the old z200&and z300 series very battery houngry) , but i belive that is not the case in the new series..
So Kool, 01 Feb 2015Yu Yureka is much better with 1.5 GHZ Octa core processor + CYNOGENMOD + Radio + Removable Bat... moreno...yureka has 720p display while zf2 has 1080p display...
yureka gives us 267ppi while zf2 gives us 403 ppi...
yureka running on anroid v4.4.2 kitkat and zf2 running on android v5.0 lolipop...
yureka have snapdragon 615 and zf2 have intel atom 35x0...
bigest differance is of ram....
yureka provides 2gb of ram while zf2 has 4gb of ram....
Its amazing for phone users and speed lover 4 GB is enough for recent generation phone and it would be a big achievementfor ASUS becoz they r using the computer level mother board and processor.. i should be a good for every one.....its a bang bang for samsung and sony
Yu Yureka is much better with 1.5 GHZ Octa core processor + CYNOGENMOD + Radio + Removable Battery and its just $150 (INR9000)
Its Really wonderful specification with Good Cost
One disappointing feature is FM is missing
Now a day all mobile users are really start listen to FM Songs
Other than its Nice ASUS Always Make a Best :-)
Sta-ko, 31 Jan 2015I thing it does, but only intel is using hiperthreating and that choeses the huge heating whi... moreHey,2GB ram is enough for 1.83 ghz? i think it is enough...
because my zf5 use hyperthreding with help of some amt. of ram & zf2 don't use hyperlinked process. then it is enough?
Actually that is false. Zenfone 5 doesnt heat up because of hyperthreading instead it heat up of bad soc(android version) design. Android as OS doesnt support hyperthreading at all. Now the heat is coming most of soc or processor tdp design, i think. Once again Android OS doesn't support hyperthreading. It can't recognize. Just google it. But saying that z2580 heat is like saying that exynos 5250 heat. It doesn't mean anything other then those soc ain't perfect in design nothing more.
