The fixes and improvements are only those that Asus has done.
Any Intel optimisations are done by Google, not Asus.
So when it says that it's KitKat update, it comes with all the good and the bad parts that KitKat brings.
Asus can't take any credit for any of those.

In my non-scientific test, trying to use only CPU, it's about 15% advantage towards KitKat vs. JellyBean. Not quite sure what to say about "normal" usage patterns and how that would look like.

Do check what apps you have installed, as this restarting issue can come from 3 sources:
- overheating CPU
- badly written apps, causing system crashes
- system lacking some of the updates

Now note this is basically on idle, no screen used, only CPU basically running.

The WW update has not yet been released, but it is imminent.
Gautam, 01 Oct 2014Checked the link but it seems the contents are removed. Can you guide what was in the linkit said, kitkat is available now for z4, and some z5 and z6 users have updated to kitkat too. but WW version is not yet available.
for those who already got the kiktkat update, did it solved the battery issue?. how is the battery now? will it be the same as WW version?

Why can't zenfone 5 cannot insert new simcard like umobile, clixster.altel and any other new simcard that recently build? How can this fix ? And i just read about the kitkat update but it did not work . Im new user. Hope i can get answer fast?

Just go to settings, storage. Here on the righthand side top corner you will find a small usb icon, touch on that to get your usb options again. Click the first option and your phone will be recognasied as USB again.
