Here in Denmark it is sold as a 5,5 inch display and this is also the size according to the manufacturers website.
So, i bought it yesterday after some guys in facebook arguing about the camera compared to mi6 and htc u11, then another guy come with the sample photos taken from asus zenfone zoom s and the exif, it stun everybody in the group because the detail and lowlight capability was impessive.
And yeah this beast is more than i can imagine, it more than enough to replace my mirorless for my daily usage being a newspapper journalist, the camera, zoom, and the big battery.
Bought it few days ago in Belgium, price was 450 €.Device comes with Android Marshmalow, updated it on Nougat.
For now I am more than satisfied..Battery life is TOP.
Yes it has midle range Snapdragon cpu but it feels very fast.I dont play hi end games on my smartphone(only time killer games) so for me it is excellent combination of extremly large battery and low power consumption CPU.
Overall quality is excellent,no remarks.
Camera is decent for smartphone ,on manual mode you can make really good pics and zoom is great.
I was a little bit worried about issues with white line on the bottom of the screen but as I understand it affects devices manufactured before may 2017 so it is good to check date before buying, mine is june 2017.
Hope that current satisfaction will last wit this smartphone.
Does anyone know whether the phone has Android 7.1 or 6.0 ? Some websites say 6.0 and some say 7.1....

gawari.id, 16 May 2017In Indonesia has been introduced, gsmarena less updateThats true..I already bought for Asus Zf zoom s in Jakarta
Anonymous, 03 May 2017Ikr expensive asf for a mid end chipset.Bad things about Asus xD other spec was ok but not with the chipset,Snapdragon 625....Ok for the battery but not for the performance.
Specs not bad... But Hybrid SIM Card...??? Seriously...??? It's a no for me... I need dual SIMs and Large Storage also...
Snapdragon 625 + 5000Mah battery combo, battery wise and curious about the camera performance though. The sensor not bad itself 1/2.5" camera sensor with aperture f/1.7 n 1.4 micron pixel,12MP on 25mm lens. The price rumor in Malaysia was around MYR2000 above,Asus definitely not gonna seld this phone lower than US 400 bucks.
aqours, 02 May 2017i dont think they will sell it cheap lolThey might, I saw the Zenfone 3 Zoom listed for 400 USD a while back
