Executive Director of Product Management at HTC USA has confirmed in Twitter that Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the One mini has passed AT&T testing. The carrier is going to seed it to One mini users via an over-the-air update by the end of this week.

The update will not only bring the latest Android version to the One mini, but also update the Sense UI to version 5.5. It brings the customizable Blinkfeed homescreen pane and also comes with several tweaks and improvements to enhance the overall performance.

Now, as the HTC One (M7) and One mini finish their updating phase, we should US carriers focus their attention on the HTC One Max. We'll share the news on the update for that one as soon as they become available.
