This phone sucks, it crashes, often has a dead pixel or two and has the age old BenQ problem of "Battery too cold" error message. Plus to top it off i had a customer the other day whos phone didnt actually come with a charger, and it was still sealed from the factory!

the reason i want a benq s700 is cos the interface and camera quality is supposed to be better on this version than the o2 x3 version and it is also bundled with a mini sd adapter.

hey can anyone tell where to get this great phone in either black or blue ? how much is anyone selling it for ? the o2 x3 is now going for £100 on ebay which is really cheap and i was wondering if i can get the s700 for between £100-£150 ?

Great Phone, been watching serial episodes of various programs on the bus, with the head set in of course. Can't knock the quality. Just one problem --- What codec / encoder does the thing use when recording video --- it plays well stuff done using Nokia's Multimedia Converter but can I hell get any video it records played on my PC. Grumble.

I had seen the a500 camera quality and it was very good. If this will be better it will be a very good cameraphone :D

With the S700, you can enjoy the 30 frames per second video that is used in projecting movies at theaters. Can you imagine that? S700 is a really good mobile phone !! And I believe that BenQ will bring more good mobile phones to us.Just wait and see.I love BenQ !!

Anyone must be curious for why S700 and 02 have almost the same design....
well basically, they are the same phone.. but the Phone is made by BenQ not O2... O2 and BenQ are doing this base on sale strategy...
S700 almost sale in Asia market, 02 x3 is responsible for Europe market. This case is like Sharp & Vodafone ~~

Is O2 and BenQ flip phones sharing the same casing??? Because there are now 2 flip phones frm BenQ tht looks like O2.
E.g. look at the Benq S700 and the O2 X3 also BenQ S670C/660C and the O2 X2!

I just bought a BENQ S700, and the camera function has a rather large drawback--under incandescent light, a whiter spot, like a fingerprint, appears in the middle of the camera image. This doesn't happen under fluorescent or natural lighting conditions, only under incandescent light. Anyone heard anything about this?

In my opinion, O2, Vodafone... are ugly marks too~~
