This is not a phone with all its feature, but merely a MP3 player with built-in camera and phone feature with external card slot.
I can't even use its gprs connection. :(
But i think its OK for its prize (well, at least its cheap enough in my country)

I used to admired it and now, i don't want to use it anymore since my phone book is always unsorted when i turn off and on my cellphone.
And the funny thing is, the USB cable is included in the box, but i can't install additional software and games on it.

i've one phone benq-siemens e61.
i've problem with keypad
if i press 3,6,9 in the screen write 333,666,999
Why..???
oia..i've one miniSD A-Data 512Mb in Benq-siemens E61
this memory card very slow if i transfer data from PC to Memory card..
once again,
the E61 can't show picture with extention *.gif,*.png,*.JPEG
and music can't play extention *.wav

The music is alright but the GUI is not good since the color is awful. It's responsiveness to text typing is too slow and the camera looks more like cartoon animation than a portrait. However, its design is fascinating. It is very small that's why I like it.
I just hope siemens installed bluetooth technology or at least infra-red on this phone and they make it 256k TFT, so that the display would be better. I also hope that this phone is JAVA 2.0 compatible.

I am a student at Acherensua Secondary School Box 5.brong Ahafo Region.GHANA.
I started using BENQ SIEMENS E61 and because of the Mp3 prayer,the battery is low and no where i can get some to buy.
Again,on the phone i went to formating and enter phone code which is 1234,this lead all the music format from the phone.My USB cord have been stolen by the students.So please do something about it for me.Is about 50

I ve been using this phone(Benq-Siemens E61) since July 2006. I purchased it from Dhaka Bangladesh, where I was residing. Now I am living in Toronto, Canada. But here I can not connect my phone to my PC, as I ve left the software provided with the phone. So could you please advice how can I connect my phone with my PC now. thanks
