I have the same sms problem. Despite that you remove all messages, it says the sim card memory is full.
The solution is strange enough, connect the E71 to the mobile phone manager, there you ll find all the messages you already deleted! If you delete them in the phone managar, the sms memory is empty again.

Hi.
I have this phone from 2-3 days , i get it for 90$ here in Bulgaria , new :) I have a question , what is the maximum memory that this phone support ? What micro sd card to get , 512 , 1gb , 2gb ?

Hi guys, I got e71 some months ago and it's great. However, there appeared one problem recently. After I got a message that the ssms memory is full, I erased old smss and tried to send one right after but since then, whenever I try to send a sms, the phone doesn't send it but saves it in Outbox and I get "Sending failed! Retry?" S... happens, I know, but I'm not able to send smss at all which sucks big time. If you have any suggestion, please post it here. Thanx a lot guys. L

hi to all,
I bought my E71 in Moscow during the new year.
The phone is awsome and it's one of the best looking phones that I've seen.
I have a strange problem.
During the last couple of days, the colors on the phone just go crazy after some button click and then return to normal after a couple of clicks.
Something similar to invert colors.
The problem appears no matter if I'm in the menu, phonebook or just browsing photos.
any solutions ?

Can anyone help? My EF71 is stuck on headphone mode (with nothing plugged in). When I plug the cable in, it takes it off headphone mode. It seems to be doing the opposite. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I have only 39 software on my E71, but there is no website on the internet, where i the 41 or 45 software download can! Where can i this version download?!

hi there,i have E71 phone ,and it is off ,and i can't switch it on,when i push the power button

hi Mohamed.
ya, you've got version 41 installed on your phone now.
the newest would be 45, you need to download the FW(around 27 MB) to the computer then do the updating by connecting the phone with the original data cable(DCA-140)and run the updater file.
but i think you don't need to update it since you have 41 already, coz i guess the newest one doesn't bring too many differences.
i have the same 41 and no complain at all from me.
and as for the first problem, i got it.
your phone code got blocked right, so you need to ask for the unlock code by asking it to the service centre.
as for my e-mail, find it at the e-mail icon at the right lower of this post.

Man your firmware is 41.
Search for gsm multifund and register there for latest firmware for the phone and download from there.
You wont get any better than there site as the company who made your phone is bust and wont be backing up your gurantee.
Good luck you will need it thats why it was sold off in the end for £35 in the uk when they finally dumped it a few weeks ago.

Dear Brother Paeijho, thanks for your quick help, I appriciate that. But unfortunately I am not yet satisfied! I have understood about the FW and saw what you told me to dial, I saw 35, but I what I don't know yet is that where to go to from the website you gave me, is it in my computer then download it in to my mobile or I write the website into my mobile browser then download it straight from my mobile internet into to my mobile? Please tell me how to bring the latest firm ware into my mobile!
Besides, I have a lot of mobile repair centres in my country Kenya, but I think you haven't got my first problem, I said; my code got blocked, it is not that I forgot it but the code got locked after I dialed wrong number in it, so now it is blocked and can't be used anymore, I don't know if you have that problem too, thank you my brother, I really appriciate for your help, I would love if you gave a contact address like your number or email address, bye! bad luck about the phone got locked, perhaps you still have the service centres in your country?
if yes, ask them for the phone code, it's should be free of charge, but it depends.
firmware is the software that operate the phone, it's like the brain.
you can check your phone FW version by typing *#06# and move to the next tab, look for it there.
the newest FW would be 45, find it at www.gsm-multifund.de
for further questions, you can go to www.club-siemens.net/forum or www.siemensplanet.com/forum, you'll find me and other helpfull members there.

Please help me it is me Mohamed, my E71 has two problems, the phone code has locked itself after I tried to insert the wrong code for three attempts. I still don't have phone code, do you know how to unlock it please!
My other problem is I don't know what Firm Ware is and what it does for a phone! Please preifly explain to me what it is and how it helps a phone.
