I work at T-Mobile and I tried the E71 a few weeks ago. It looks stunning - certainly not cheap and tacky as some people have said. For something that costs £100 it looks like it costs at least 3 times that amount!

in reply to jeremiah, finally found e71 in tesco as he said and...what a disappointment! the dark silver version looks great in all these photos on the internet but just wait till you see one in the flesh- it just looks incredibly cheap and nasty and almost toy-like. hopefully the black version will look better, if not i won't be buying it.

Russians are lucky bastards :)
Been looking to buy this phone for some time now, but it is not available in any stores here in Sweden.
Considered buying it from Club-Siemens, but dont wanna be hassled with overseas warranties and so on...
Guess I have to wait....Thats all!

This nice phone is available in most Russian stores and there are some internet positive reviews. Point is good quality/price ratio.

Has been in local Tesco store for about two weeks. Sold as T-mobile (Locked? - almost certainly) at GBP89.95 until end of October - then the price goes up GBP10.00

I've got my E71 today and it's simply beautiful. After 3 hours of searching there are no problems at all. In Greece it costs 171-179 euro.

Last week I was in the Chech Republic and was surprised to found this phone in a mobile phone shop. The recent BenQ Siemens problems didn't seem to have affected the East European market. Does anyone know if a mayor release for Europe can be expected? The phone looked and felt very good. The black model looked even better than the silver version.

been in and out of all major phone shops for the last 2 weeks and no-one had even heard of the e71. i've been lusting after this for weeks and i need one now!. bloke in carphone warehouse told me yesterday that benq-siemens have shut down all european operations- anyone know if this is true?

I like this set but confuse about photo quality? Plz any e71 user ans me about it? Is it the same quality ar s88. I would like s88 if it have fm radio.

Hallo,
I got mine E71 today. Its a good phone> It looks very nice and everything works perfect.
It is like EL71, the only different. it has got a radio and the icons are differnt and the themas are different. The icons on EL71 are looking better. I paid 220 euro.

Really curious about this phone. Has anybody got a hand at this beauty? Hows the display/camera/interface/buttons?
It looks as if there is a hole for the camera at the back, is it possible for dirt to get in there? Or is there plastic over the hole?
Has anybody found a thorough review of this phone available online?
