i just got a 6230 and i like the user options, the only problem i have i can not call from the phone, the bottom on the top is not working, help

You got this phone and wishes to start fresh.
I would suggest getting a time machine and going back to 1979 when this phone first came out. You will be as fresh as the others! :)

This phone, although primitave by today's standards still revolutionized the PDA so you shouldn't post negative comments. I would have bought the Blackberry Curve from Sprint instead though because it only costs $20 more and is pretty much up to date and has much more options.

I bought this phone last year for use outside of the USA. It is GSM, so it works on any system outside of the states. I just got back from 10 days in the Dominican Republic. When I arrived, I got it activated on the Orange system. It worked very well and I was not required to buy an internet package like here in the states. The only complaint I have is that it was difficult at times to here the receive audio. Does anybody know if there is a fix for this?
By the way, I paid $18 for this phone on Ebay
