Have you guys looked at Parrot car kits?
You download the phonebook into the kit itself and connect via bluetooth to make calls.

I really like my Blackberry 7100V (E-mail works great) EXCEPT that it seems impossible to get a carkit for this and this is not accepted. I just got a new car (Ford). I can receive calls over my radio by means of Bleutooth but calling out over the phone incl. using my phonebook is not possible, only when the ophine is in an integrated phoneholder. Can somebody advise ? No info is found on Blackberry carkits.

I work for a large telco, and as such i'm constantly trialling out new devices, the Blackberry 7100v for me is the best business tool I've ever used.
For me it allows me to recieve and read email without having to sign in, this means I don't need to be in the office, which is great because I'm in sales, clients are constantly commenting how great it is to get prompt relies. Well its so easy just scroll and click, oh yeah now you don't have to watch out just for those texting(SMS) drivers, cos us email while driving drivers are out there now, watch out!!

i am a busy real estate agent, and for my job this is the very best phone i could imagine. i receive about 40-50 calls per day, and the phone has such an incredable memory, it holds all phone call records, like 10,000 plus, so i can look up a any day and get the phone call records/numbers from calls made/received that day. It is great for travelling, the only problem is the size, its a big phone, but with as much data info as it has i understand size is needed.

buy it, you wont be disapointed

i got the 7100 for christmas. i changed from my palm base product to the blackberry. what a mistake. the blackberry is the most un-userfriendly thing i have ever used. its not practical, it outright sucks!!!!!!!!! i cant believe these people are still in business. the black berry was so bad, i called sprint back and asked if i could go back to my palm device. buyers beware. i just cant believe how aweful this phone is. i cant believe this piece of junk is still on the market.

The blackberry is pure evil, most people dont realise that the blackberry is built mainly as an email device. Not as a phone. Any quick set up tips for the blackberry are extremely welcome.

Bought a BlackBerry 7100v from E-Bay website in box & connected to Vodafone for calls & email access. A handset of this size is very good for what its designed to do in my opinion - especially emails. It could be better though. Must admit that the battery 'sucks the juice' if its working overtime & needs to be charged daily if its used as much as I do everyday. Sometimes I hear radiation static from speaker both when on a call and when Im not. Does become an irration sometimes. Of course there is room for improvement in design, features & performance which I hope will be rectified in future models but for what the 7100v is, its definately the start of something good.

great phone but the speakerphones are not a great feature, cant hear properly when put on speaker, very poor. This is my 3rd one and still the same problem. Otherwise great phone, better than carrying a laptop around.

Hi. I currently live in Malaysia and have just subscribed to the Blackberry service from Maxis. The only handset offered is the 7290. Does anyone know if Maxis is going to be offering other Blackberry products in the near future? Tks

I live in Australia and use this phone on the Vodafone network. Personally I think that the phone is fantastic. It is not too big at all and it is great to have a phone with all the functions of a computer in your pocket. Only thing is it would be better if there were more than one game on there. Other than that the Blackberry is great.....
