Ok, I'm really sorry to be a total idiot, but I just got my BB 7100x today and I can't work the thing! I'm new to this whole BB malarkey. Can anyone tell me how to get a full stop when I'm entering an email address for a contact in my address book? I know...I'm being really stupid. In the instructions it says to press the space bar twice, but this brings up a @. What's going on?! Help!!
Thank you...

blackberry's are designed to be secure, thats why no bluetooth file transfer or ir.... adding a camera would only jeopardize its security. Plus what good converged device has a good camera??

you can easily download a theme that makes the icons instead of the list your menu.
I'd really like to know why you can find a housing for practically every phone in the world except this 7100x. The black definitely looks better than cingular's silver.

I found Blackberry with camera and flash in England. There does not seem to be any state side yet. It might depend on demand if they bring it here. Yes, too there are many places that do not permit a camera phone to be taken in.

Well, I would like one for business use and I need it to have a camera. I must take photos to document my jobs for liability reasons and having it in the phone keeps me from having to tote a camera and a phone.

I received a 7100x from O2 (UK) 2½ months ago - and it works perfectly, I asked O2 to unlock it, so they did whitout any trouble or fees.... Now I use it on TDC (Denmark) - no trouble - so get a 7100x and be happy

It's not designed to have a camera or 3g features fool. Its and email-on-the-go device, not a childrens play tool.

It handles jpegs perfect (i.e. in attachments). Also .doc, .xls and even .pdf.
Perfect no-nonsense email phone. Have it for 3 days and don't want to miss it for the world!

It would have been wonderful to see these devices with 3G within them as a way forward as it is mainly advertised as a business tool. Many coporates will find the 3G facility as a major convinience.
