excellent product, and not problematic at all. receiving e-mails on the device always put me ahead of everyone because it pushes e-mail to you wherever you are. batterl life is expetionally fantastic as i do loads of talktime. Can't do with out it.

I recently switched from a Sony Ericsson W550i to a blackberry 7290.
Once the setup was completed i started to notice the difference.
Great phone, clear sound, great emailfunctions.
i'm sticking with blackberry from now on...

This phone is horribly unreliable - I am on my 3rd warranty exchange. Functionally very good, practically terrible.

As a phone - diabolical. All the business users I know use a regular cellphone for voice calls.
As a handheld for e-mail-unbeatable.
Great build, easy to use, hell to set up without an IT department and/or a load of spare time.

The fone is rubbish. The internal antenna craps out at least once every few minutes causing "decryption errors" and losing BES connectivity altogether. It's a fairly rudementary IMAP device beyond that. Bluetooth is kludgy and poorly implemented. Voice quality is very much 1994. I'm thankful work paid for it as i plan on lighting it on fire as soon as i replace it with a real device- win mobile.

Great phone ! Calling, sending e-mails and sending sms. No stupid camera's or mp-3 player functions on it. Blackberry is no toy phone like all the other brands, with blackberry its important to communicate and that is wath the blackberry is for. If you want media-functions like mp3 player, video and other stuff then buy a pocket pc. Bluetooth is only voice with blackberry, its not possible to transfer data. Greetz

This is probably the worst thing that I have ever Spent money on! To start off the Cingular wireless salesman sold me a raspberry or a blueberry or was it a blackberry either way he sold me the package unfortunatly half of the claims were not true!!!!!! After spending over 30 hours on customer service during the first 4 weeks we determined that the phone was not capable of doing what the salesman claimed. too bad the exchange period had expired before they were able to determine this. Needless to say I have had so many problems that I want to scream everyday. There has not been one single day that I have been glad that I wasted my money on the phone. I just spent 90 minutes with Cingular Wireless customer service arranging for a warranty exchange but since the Aluminum face is held on with glue and has delaminated they want to charge me nor a new phone. They claim it is damage, it is probably impossible that they have a poor glue job. Of course I could send the phone to blackberry first and for $180.00 they will install a new peice of aluminum trim, then I could send it in for a warranty exchange. I think I would rather pay $150.00 to cancell my service and burn the rest. I would get more for my buck. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
