for those who are having problems with transferring files to the phone via bluetooth. Just go to the media section, then press the trackwheel, from the options select receive using bluetooth, transfer your stuff from the other phone/pc as soon. Be careful not to transfer any file of more than 2mb, otherwise it'll show some stupid error.
P.s. Talking about the phone, its really awesome. I've been usin like every kinda phone, buh this one really surprised me. In short, excellent phone it is.

This Device does not Support File Transfer Service of Bluetooth, You can only Use Bluetooth Headset Service.

Someone tampered with my phone and input the wrong password several times and all the information was erased, now it only shows a blank screen with figures 507 on it. Am so desperate to restore it to it's normal status. Please help and inform me what I need to do to restore my phone. E

8700 was launched in 2004,that's like 8 years ago? Guys this phone was ahead of its time. Technology has since then grown relatively cheaper. I mean processor,RAM,ROM. So please give 8700 a break. I have a relic that has RepliGo for pdf viewing,Ubersocial for Twitter,FB, I basically don't expect more from its internal mem of 64MB. I salute RIM for such a visionary phone. Did I mention that the keypads are the best I have ever handled? My typing. Speed on 8700 rivals that of a PC! Plus, the trackwheel is mighty intuitive. 139g is a lot but I understand.

So don't grab this phone & start whining about Need For Speed.....get, and relish how far we come from
