> In reply to Irteza @ 2009-03-23 06:36 from 258D - click to readlast i checked. i thought when they say GPS, it means that the CUSTOMER can us gps as in know where they are. its not like the service provider can track where every1 is at. Thats a violation of privacy practices are in accordance with all Federal and provincial Laws and regulations. so GPS is only when you need it on Hikes and drives and such .... but i could be wrong??

Any body can help and let me know hoe to get it done.

Hi Asif,

Your suggestions were really helpful. It worked and I was able to transfer some important files to my device. Well 1 question, will this work even when I'm transferring office documents? Where can I save them?

Regrds,

SANKALP

Hi all,

BB 8820 is a nice device to use. But I'm facing several problems.

1. The phone gets paired to other devices but does not transfer data. I tried this for a hundred times, but failed.

2. Facing difficulty in setting up my desktop sync software (I want to synchronize my contacts between the desktop and the device)

3. The alarm will just not go off on time. (I was late for office because of this.)

4. What is the highest capacity of memory card that I should go for in this device - 2, 4 or 8 GB. Does is become slower with 4 GB and up memory card?

Anybody out there who has a fruitful experience of using this phone, please help me with it. I URGENTLY need help with the Bluetooth and Sync functions.

Regards.

The BB8820 is really a wonderful gadget even if it has no built in camera. The only problem I encounter is its SCROLL. I've been using this unit for just six (6) months but my scroll is already malfunctioning terribly. Additional issue for me is that there is no local service center for BBs in the Phils. and repairs can only be done in Canada. This, plus my service provider has no available service unit for the longest time ever.

Hi, iam using Nokia E61 and its great specailly its browsing, i just love it.
I am thinking of getting BB8820 mainly for email & browsing.
Is it worth buying 8820 it & how would separate both of them.
