I bought Verizon 8830 world edition from naaptol.com, in India. They had mentioned that it is a GSM+CDMA set. Whereas I got it activated for GSM, it is not working on CDMA. When I try to activate as instructed by naaptol.com, it is not accepting. The procedure given was as under:
type ##000000 and press call, then type
1111111111 (10 times 1) and press blackberry logo
the phone will switch off and restart on its own.
However, when I do the same the phone is not switching off and restart.
I have done the same procedure for GSM activation and it is working fine.
Could you please inform me how to get it activated on CDMA net work. For your information, I am in India and using Reliance CDMA network.

blackberry 8830 is not original. because there is no blackberry logo on the top of the mobile above speker phone befor named "blackberry"
