blackberry bold can hold alot of texts, once i had 1900 in it and i deleted all of them

Hi - I have a question on SMS i.e. if anyone can help. Would like to know what option does the bold9000 give of sending one or a single sms to multiple ppl i.e. 20 ppl in one go, 40 ppl in a go or can send to the entire phone book in one go?

For those who are complaining about BBB maybe you just got a bogus blackberry.I just got mine for almost a year now and its amazing,second to none,life is harder without the BBB.

Ur problem, should be claim to the service center. To let them get a good feedback to the factory.

For my case, I been same luck, after a month using, software collapse. But they upgrade to me.

Some of my friend is due to internal break down of the hardware, so they get the replace set.

Off coz, all I've talking is warranty unit. For non warranty unit, its a bit complicated, beside of the unit failure, it also having the risk of pin suspend, which done by RIM frequenly..

Yes u can't find it in Bold as usual. U try go to media, then menu, then there is explorer there. Then u can make file management.

It was the expirence on my friend's black berry which caught my attention and decided to get a Blackberry for myself.
LCD and Sound quality was a WOW! when I first lay my hands on it. User friendliness is average. You have to suscribe to Blackberry service before you are able to make use of the features to the maximum.
After few monthes of usage, I noticed the phone is getting more laggy and hang intermittenly. I have to remove my battery before the phone can resume proper operation and the restart of the phone takes a freaking long 5 minutes to boot itself up. At times, the phone will even restart by itself all of a sudden. Chrome trimming on the side of the phone also started peeling.

Before I purchsed this phone, I have set a very high expectation of what the blackberry can do for me, however after almost a year of usage, I can't wait to get rid of this phone. I have really regreted choosing this phone. Sorry to say I've totally lost my confident in Blackberry and I'll never consider getting a Blackberry again. It's a true disappointment.

I have a contract BBB9K with MTN South Africa since Dec 2008.

Very reliable phone. Lots of plus factors with this phone relative to my previous cells (HTC/Nokia/Samsung).

Problems experienced during the year... (1)Poor battery life (last about a day; normal use) ...(2)Trackball gets stuck and freeze periodically

Overall I am very happy with my BBB9K and when my contract come up for renewal, I will only consider another BB.

After 6 months using the Bold. I realise a problem.

Since the first day I used, I set the option KEEP MESSAGE FORVER. For email and sms.

Today, I need to trace an email which 4 months back, becoz I m not in front of my computer.

But I can found it, and I realise the email is only keep for 2 months. The older, been erased. So as sms.

I am shock with this, so I check again the setting, its still the same keep forever.. But why Bold can delete automatically for our email n sms

Email still can be accepted becoz we still can trace from the computer. But sms how? Some important sms been erased.. Really bad..

I owned it for 6 months.
I would like to improve the browser's speed.
Clearing the cache, and Booster applications
are not enough.
Needs some RIM's luster in some areas too.
I hope the next OS makes it better.
Overall is a reliable product.

This phone is amazing not only for Business but for everything else a person might want to use it for

The audio works good with headphones, the videos are clear and the internet is great

I recommend it to everyone: Casual, Business or Entertainment

This phone is a total ripoff. Cant even hold a candle to the Samsung i780, but the price... :-O Id rather buy a 8520 and a stand alone GPS for that price. Talk about hype.

I bought the Bold almost 10 months ago, but am not satisfied with the handset. Maybe I got a defected handset, I dont know. Its back panel came out within 6 months and now I have to use tape to attach it to the handset, all its black color is gone and it has now become silver colored. Its joystick has got stuck and stopped working twice already and I have to get it changed both times. Its battery is very, very bad. It goes down from full charged to low battery with just 10 phone calls of 2-3 minutes each. I do not use Blackberry services or play games, but still its battery life is bad.

I will not recommend this phone.
