I'll be a specific as possible:

SCREEN is quite briliant and has a good enough resolution.

SMS i use the smsCrunch app and it looks really good, as though I am using an Iphone sms app on a blackberry.

SPEED OF INTERNET:
W/ Wifi it's actualyl fantastic! And the browser is a a breeze!

Witout Wifi, that depends on your carrier but with the specs, internet with or without wifi should be GOOD or near GREAT.

BATTERY LIFE is brilliant! I am a heavy user esp with twitter, bbm, texting and facebook and my batt does last two days!

KEYBOARD is soft, yet concise so no worries with typing there. It's real smooth with the typing.

PROCESSING SPPED is brilliant! The OS6 is quite good and the phone itself handles it more than good enough as compared to the 9700 running the OS 6. If you want it to be faster, i suggest buying the RAM Booster from Blackberry Appworld, and this phone is a sure runner!

Camera is good on bright situations. On lowlights, it's ok and gets better with the flash. not exactly high end but does take a decent photo.

My verdict: GREAT PHONE! does what it claims to be!
The only thing i'd probably change about it is to maybe increase it's processing speed. While the speed of this phone is GOOD already, i wish they pushed it further.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-02-23 14:08 from KIfn - click to readI've had Blackberry and Nokia E71 (predecessor to E72). Main difference I found in favour of Blackberry was the Blackberry Messenger and email services are slightly better. However, you'll pay a good bit more for this. E71 has been one of the best phones I've had - reliable, sleek, brilliant battery life (over 2 years old and I get 3-5days out of the battery with moderate use). The E72 is ever-so-slightly thicker, and has a better camera, but I would happily go for E72 depending when its older brother gives up on me

Without a doubt, one of the most refined and wholesome mobile phones that I have used.

I have this phone and it's just great for what I want. The camera is awesome, email and texting is excellent and call quality is great, the best thing is the battery life. The qwerty keyboard is the best in the industry in my opinion. If you are looking for a reliable communications device then this is it. The webkit browser is good and social networking is smooth. Everyone knows what they need in a cell phone and there is so much to choose from. We should all do research and buy what is good for us and not spend too much time putting the ones we don't like down. RIM is not going to go out of business just because YOU don't like their phone, many of us are very happy with what some call "boring design", to each his own. If you don't like Blackberry don't use it, simple as that, there are so many choices.
