its true R I M you really need to step up your game a bit, you are now making phones for casual user not just business people so we would love to see gpu, video call camera, and the ability to use the volume rocker to scroll if your track pad are ball stop's working,and a 1ghz processor wouldn't hurt 2.

design is so lame, they always make the same design
nothing special really,
5MP is standard, no Graphic accelerator hw,
very small internal storage (should be 8GB+)
only 65K colour screen, thats like phone in 2004
and still with wireless b/g,

no sure why AT&T and T-Mobile no refuse to introduce Bold 9780 as Verizon refuse to introduce and sell Storm 3.

Blackberry can simply upgrade the Os 5 to OS 6 as Apple and Android do. But do not want to since can try to sell more phone. cheating customers.

great device, carry on RIM. but we would expect bit more than what we have in Bold 9780. flash player is a much feature for any smartphone, but don't know why most of the OEM does not care about it.

I don't see much differences compared to bold 9700. I believe they should have the new OS 6 support for the old BB. They are playing game and fooling the consumers..

after the release of 9700 and 1 year later this model come with few changes !!!

its a cool device. i am using bold 9700 since Nov 2009. thinking of get bold 9780 in x-mas. i like this tiny powerful device, not in terms of spec, in terms of performance.

blackberry should maintain its standard and not compromise the price or keep reducing the price as nokia does all the time.it should maintain its price range.i had bought bb-8900 when it was 25k, then again i bought it for 18k after a while.

i just bought the torch bb, and i think after having it for a day it is a very hyped up device ( i do not like it ......putting it midly) any way now i want to know when is the 9780 bold being launched in India????

It is a good upgrade for Bold 9000 or Curve 8900 user. but i don't know how GSMARENA people can make such mistake -> they post the size of Bold9000 and picture of Bold 9700 :o(

Wow! The same garbage over n over. These guys are obviously out of designs. The phones originally came out fat then gradually trimmed down, so what, they're gonna go fat again? There's only so much that can be done. I'd predicted the phone having the same design, but hey, 6.0 os and a step up with the camera to 5.0 mp, so... Still not impressed
