GOREKH, 20 Aug 2011I have been using this phone from last seven days. So far the experience has been good if not ... morewhats the qnx?
thanks
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2011My question is... Why did they not include a secondary camera? I know that it isn't really use... moreThey are waiting to release something revolutionary :P
BBMV = BlackBerry Messenger Video
this will be revolutionary (mild sarcasm)
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2011I've had the phone for the past week, granted the battery life is not as good as my previous 9... moreThanks....i placed an order for the phone immediately i finished reading ur comments. Thanks alot
I am absolutely amazed and disappointed that BB has not included a very basic business function such as the editing of documents. What business environment do they live in in 2011??
What colours will this phone be out in (South Africa) by late October??
My question is... Why did they not include a secondary camera? I know that it isn't really used that often but nearly every phone that is being released these days have one =/
moncherie, 24 Aug 2011when is the bb9900/9930 gon be available in Nigeria?pls how is it
I might be interested to buy this one, still waiting for iPhone 5 though to see which is better. Either I'm going to upgrade my old Blackberry into this one, or buy an iPhone 5 and keep my Bold 9870 (for its BBM, kinda 'essential' here in my country, haha).
Cheers!
moncherie, 24 Aug 2011when is the bb9900/9930 gon be available in Nigeria?Never
I've had the phone for the past week, granted the battery life is not as good as my previous 9780 or 9700 but it's not as bad as everyone makes it. I charge my iPhone 4 every night as I know it wouldn't last but I can easily get 2 days use out of the 9900.
The touch screen is a great addition to the Bold, I wouldn't say I can solely rely on it but it definitely aids me on doing simple tasks such as browsing up and down, zooming, etc.
I loved the original Bold 9000 because of its size, now with the additional features from the 9780 it makes the 9900 for me personally a great progression from the 9780/9700.
Overall, I'm happy with it and glad that I've made the purchase.
the real touch or type phone not like stupid nokia touch and type, if touch stops working no way to use the phone,,keep it up blackberry
I saw it yesterday ... 9900 is amazing, so light, big keyboard, but a little bit expensive, I guess it is better to hold on a couple of months before you buy it...
The phone is definitely an improvement over the previous BB models but l am really frustrated from the battery life...cannot take along even for a day.
So l expect that RIM will use a smaller battery lets say 700mAh on the next model to keep this unbelievable tradition that is leading to reduce the battery capacity on every new model
when is the bb9900/9930 gon be available in Nigeria?
Another bold move by RIM to take their market share to a even lower level. This phone has nothing but only looks. Price is exorbitant and features are as good as nothing.I feel its better RIM sell itself to windows o Google o even may be some Chinese company.
bob, 22 Aug 2011in my personal experience w many blackberry's this phone n the 8320 are best blackberry's eve... moreYou said it... Bold 97xx and Curve 83xx are the best in design and durability.
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2011I do not agree with you its is not easier to type on a touchscreen,,touchscreens are hell to u... moreIt is much easier to type on touch screen than keyboard if have practiced and use to it, why would you then want buy 9900 if you think touch screen not easy to use just keep using your 9700. Not everyone think same of course like some people like you can keep going and keep Blackberry market share which they gone Down to number 3rd place from 1st place.
Market agree with my comment by Android touch in first place and iPhone touch in 2nd place. Read Gsmarena daily news. Plus right now 9900 sell for $799 and Galaxy sell for $599.
Blackberry advantages are over their old model but not over their competions. Blackberry system is old compare to OS Android and ISO 4 and limited applications.
Does anyone know if I get this phone from another carrier that uses a sim card and unlock it, would this phone work on the Mobilicity network?
I am in Australia and Optus has just brought out this phone on $79 plan. and they claim it has "exceptional battery life" ?? i read comments here negative about battery. whats true? how long does it really last on a moderate usage? i message a lot. and could be on msn and Facebook half a day too. would it drain the battery badly?? would it even last a day?
AnonD-2000, 23 Aug 2011I use iPhone, Galaxy S2, and Blackberry 9780. If I would like touch screen phone use my iPhone... moreI do not agree with you its is not easier to type on a touchscreen,,touchscreens are hell to use..Why bother with your comment when you have 2 other fones.just dont buy 9900 we will instead..
