Grema, 07 Jun 2011also when is the release date? how true is the august 19th remoured date!!! very, spoke to a blackberry rep he said that it would be as soon as end of july - beg of august apparently
we all have the same concerns that blackberry is behind in the mobile hardwre technology and i agree with that , but the manin part that it has to change is its operating system restrictions .
i think that they are in the right track and they are improving their hardware and sotware in the same time and ptoducing quality mobile phones
the only major thing that they shlould change is the marriage of the functions with its service ,, meaning that you cant use the mobile except calling and sms ing if you dont have the blackberry service ,,, they should allow the mobile to be used for other functions specially the internet if you dint have the service ,,, this will make blackberry more flexible mobile device and not only bound to their service
Personally..I don't see the big difference between the bold touch and the bold 9780 nd blackberry torch phones. Apart from the improved operating system, there's nothing extra to offer.. They should really think about exapanding their horizons. A secondary camera and fm radio would be nice, for example.
i so wishes they put a dual processor in these new bolds. oh well, i think one 1200mhz processor would lack efficiency and use up bare power, thus low battery life.

What a shame that RIM can't meet deadlines and get the 9900 out as promised in June. Unfortunate, especially considering the success and hype of the Samsung Galaxy S2. Have a 9700 and about to upgrade but unsure that I will wait until June. RIM's loss is Samsungs gain!
The Battery is poor. It is 1230 milli-ampere per hour.
The battery in bold 2 & 3 is still better..
Something wrong with blackberry.
When is this phone coming out in Canada?! Who would know the information?!
The battery is 1230 poor.... I thought the spec will eat much more power
Coming soon, this summer and Q2 are not release dates. Goodbye Blackberry.
this could be the most ever hi-tech bb phone in the entire universe.
This delay must be a joke.. RIM don't do that...
Maybe you can send me a beta version.. I can be also OK with that :)))
I hope this has full status LED for message alerts, pulsing green LED to show its alive and Auto-Focus on video recording like BB Torch..
I must admit that the back of this smartphone is pretty sporty.Carbon fibre back and the slim metal edge i love and the way it curves round the 3.5mm jack,,ooohhh really techy... :-)
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2011Why does RIM bother announcing phones if they can't release them on time.the playbook cant do ... moreI agree why dont they get all their staff in and get on with the bloody device. What are RIM doing day day out just get the bloody thing finished and out.If you cant do it then expect folk to go elsewhere.
What is it with these companys its the same with Nokia.Months and months to get a simple update out.
If you cant do it then dont bother,,release a statement saying its never going to release then people can shop else where and get on with their lives..
Why does RIM bother announcing phones if they can't release them on time.the playbook cant do anything cos there arent any apps and they havent released a new phone in a long time. in the meantime their stock price will continue falling cos they losing market share.
this is by far the best i have seen, redefining the bold 9000 thats cool
