gujji, 20 Mar 2013I wana like blackberry 9900 but i juat got to knw that it has a battery problem. Can you sugge... moreSee, like every phone that has great graphics in it and needs to be touched to believe it all of them have battery issues. Honestly the 1270mAh battery on the 9810 Vs the 1230mAh battery that's on the 9900 doesn't make much of a difference, honestly think about it how much battery life can extra 40mAh offer? Not much additional 5mins if your using the touch screen constantly and 15mins if your only using the trackpad.
Yeah Battery issues are there like some have claimed but, all the new OS' that were launched from Android, WM, BB Liquid Graphics, Ubuntu etc... all these mobile OS devices had some bugs or issues on battery and they all were fixed with an OS update. So, don't worry! But understand you need before you buy a BB device many first timers who buy a BB after owning a Samsung S2 or older android devices have b*tched about the BB being a bad phone etc..,
What do you hate abt an Android that you'd want to buy a BB device, also note that BB devices are not known for their kick-ass applications like you get on WM or Android or even Symbian for that matter. Think about it! Then make your move if your satisfied after doing the checks & balances of your needs what you'd expect the new phone to be and not perceive it 2b something else after you've purchased it.
The 9900 & 9810 both don't come document editors, you have buy em from the market place. NFC (Good cuz most BB bluetooth don't work for file transfers with other devices.) Small screen on 9900 (2.8" on 9900) means you have to use the screen to pinch to zoom a lot most of the time that relates to faster battery consumption even after updating the OS, 9810 bit larger screen when compared to 9900 not an eye opener would still struggle, you'd still have to use pinch to zoom but very less in comparison when you do it on a 9900. No nfc (bbm & whatsApp compensates for that.)

Anonymous, 11 Mar 2013hey guys can anyone tell me which one will be better BB bold 4 or BB torch 9810 n why
plz guy... more9810: This has great look and Great Touch sensitivity and Screen size is pretty good and decent, Battery Back up better than 9900, only problem is On BIS active device it hangs due to memory usage, It has great slider and one who likes sliding mobiles will like this.
9900: Big advantage is its Keyboard so soft, the SMS addicted people will enjoy with this keyboard, battery backup is very bad on BIS with 3G activation Battery sucks in half a day. Camera Both in 9810 and 9900 same, NFC available in 9900 where as in 9810 its not there, Lock Screen Unlock Screen pretty good in 9810 than in 9900.
9810 Body color leaks in 3 months 9900 will look clean even after 6 months,
I hope you will decide which one you want to buy.
Its a very good phone... turn off the WI-fi to save battery.
Strong + Fast
its worst phone to buy i only had mines 3Months and it stop working its was a waste of money
hey guys can anyone tell me which one will be better BB bold 4 or BB torch 9810 n why

MS Gany, 06 Mar 2013Hi. I'm a sales rep and due for an upgrade of my cellphone. Current I get my emails on my cell... moreHi Gany! Please understand your need for a smartphone with the kind of job profile you have? I'm guessing being a sales person you would be sending lot of emails with targets etc.., And you'd be using this phone to listen to music, chat with friends over messengers services as well as some gaming as well.
If your need revolves around emails and some lot of chatting with friends on gtalk and any kind of messenger the Blackberry is the best device, you need to understand something in-spite of this device being top of the line business phone it doesn't include any sort of document editor what so ever, so if you need a office doc on the go you can only view files can't edit em, so the next best option you have is the BB 9790 (Has a smaller screen and is short by .2Mhz less processing speed, not like its goig to make any big difference.)
Nokia or any windows mobile device is again based on what your looking at the phone to do, need it to be the all in one business phone and yet lets you play some awesome games, listen to some great music while traveling, and a great web-browser that doesn't hang or freeze and a phone that offer Windows Office. But you should know Windows device have short battery life and worst feature is when you begin sending or receiving emails on the go when your on battery saver mode, the phone will not receive emails until you click on the refresh manually, some other irritant features of the windows phone is its not easy adding word or pdf documents especially when you have an email already in the draft something you have to live with. Apart from that the UI grabs your attention.
BOTTOM LINE: FIRST DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT YOUR PHONE TO DO? AND WHAT YOU WANT A PHONE FOR? IF THATS CLEAR ONE OF THE TWO WHICH HAS BEEN DISCUSSED WILL BE PURCHASED!
